The compressor of the condenser unit tries to start, then quickly fails to continue. I have already changed to a new capacitor, and still does not work. could there be a problem with the compressor being stuck ?

My problem is that the actule unit isn’t turning on.

Thermostat and the condenser relay need to be checked...

The outside box doesn't have any fuses where else can I find them ?

After a storm last wk and the power flickered, the unit no longer cools. When I turn the unit back on at the switch, should the thermometer be on or off to let the unit reset itself for 15 minutes?

My ac does not turn on right away when I start it . Later when I tried again it started, once it started it is not turning off . So I shut it off . Now when I try to turn it on it’s not turning on

You just didn’t mention the faulty thermostat itself and or fan wrong wiring!

Don’t forget to check your thermostat batteries

All checked cleaned and defrosted! AC worked again, but after a few hours it wouldn't shut off... went outside and pipes are frozen again... so! I'm not sure what to do next.

My AC was working fine yesterday and then just stopped last night. We tried the switch outside, it worked for 5 mins. So I know it's not the fuse. But we did have the annual maintenance this week and everything seemed to work fine. And then yesterday, this happened. I will check the fuse box anyway.

Because of this video I found out there was an on/off switch on my air handler, and that fixed my issue. Thanks!

My Thermostat has been glitching so I replaced it, and it looks to be working but my AC has not kicked on.I checked my breaker box and it was fine but when I went to check the disconnect switch is off, but it will not stay in the “on” position when i flip the switch. How can i fix this.

I have two split units, which works with one outdoor unit, one split unit works well but the second does not turn on with remote, can anybody help me ?????

So my system is cooling past the set temperature. I have it set to 72 but it cools to 68. The temperature raised to 70 degrees and again it was running. I had to turn it up pas 75 to shut it off. What do you think could be the issue? I have an external thermometer that reflects those lower temperatures as well.
