Why is Villa Vie suing Jeff from backroads tourist? I’m just curious if the residence had a decision in that. I’m retiring this year & fascinated by this lifestyle. I thought he did a pretty good job of updating us on the pros and cons.

Cost of your cabin is more than $20,000 PER MONTH over 4 years. Compared to a tiny inside or oceanview cabin of 160 sq ft.

Reminds me of a movie about a moon town scam.

Love to do this but as a single residence the monthly fees make it unattainable.

Can you imagine living on board an old boat while your ‘home’ depreciates in value, day after day. Then you have to put up with people you can’t stand, have nothing in common with. What happens if you need monthly medication? Need an urgent ambulance. Yep such fun. Then you find your stuck in ‘sunny’ Belfast while having to find alternative accommodation. Nice idea, but keep it.

Why send a humorist to cover this story? It needs an investigative team with contacts in the Belfast shipbuilding industry and with the Northern Ireland regulators as well as independent engineers. And talk to some of the passengers who walked away. I wish these folks Goodspeed and I hope next time I hear the name Villa Vie in the news all will be well.
