Midlife Cruising channel mentioned that Main Dining is now open, and I’m so happy for everyone. It’s a beautiful room and lots of accessible windows means it’s a beautiful view and space to have a meal. And the staff all look happy to have their “journey” start, too. Best wishes.

May I ask some questions for the channel admin please? * Is there also a buffet restaurant or is all of the dining formal a la carte like this one? * Is dining here included in the price? * Are drinks included on board? What is included and what is paid for in addition? * Does the menu change every day or is it fixed? Over the course of several years on board it would be nice to have a lot of choice, and perhaps foods typical to the regions we are visiting. * What are the serving times for breakfast, lunch and dinner please? (I ask because those working on board may be keeping UK/USA business hours and eventually we'll be 12 hours out of sync with the ship!) * Is there room service too? Is that included in the price? * Is there somewhere to get food outside of the restaurant opening hours if we need to? Is that included in the price, like an open snack bar etc, or is there somewhere to buy meals outside of restaurant hours? * Do the restaurants have any dress code or guidelines or is it casual? * Are there any paid restaurants on board? What is the typical price per head? * For those of us bringing pets on board, is there any provision for pet food?
