So our ship Oasis of the seas is going into dry dock October 1st this year in 5 weeks in Europe. We are sailing on her October 21st 3 weeks after she goes in. Should i be concerned about that? Were flying out to Barcelona from the US for this cruise. Thank you

We were on this cruise crossing the Atlantic at the end of April 2024. Weather crossing was not great but other than that the cruise was enjoyable and we loved the shows on board!

Hi Brynn! I and two other couples were on your what I think was your second cruise on The Getway April 19-29 2024 from NYC to the Eastern Caribbean. We sat in the first two rows stage left with amazing views of the production. We absolutely loved The Million Dollar Quartet! A true Broadway caliber performance. We got to meet some of the cast at the Buffet and Poolside and they were so engaging, happy to take pics etc. Perhaps you were there but we didn't recognize you with that amazing hair and make-up you wear for the show! Thanks for sharing your "day-in-the-life" of a cruise performer and travel tidbits and advice. Very interesting and useful. Best wishes for continued success now, and when you start a new chapter with starting a family!

Hey, Im a singer on a cruise ship, as well 🥰 as far as I've learned (and I say that with the knowledge that just cause I learned it doesn't mean I'm right 🤣)... but I had a vocal injury that took me 2 years to heal, and I learned a lot about vocal health in the process... blah, blah, blah, all I wanted to say is that whispering is actually more tiring for your voice than speaking normally... so when you want to get vocal rest, you should never ever whisper, either be completely silent, or speak less words, but with proper breath technique ❤️ Hope you're much better and that you don't ever have to vocal rest anyway 🤣

Hi hope your continuing to improve as a sever asthmatic I know exactly how you were feeling during lockdown in 2020 I had really bad asthma but as cough was a Covid symptom the only way I could see a doctor face to face and get put on Prednisone tablets was via emergency at my local hospital - telehealth is great when you need it, but it won’t get my chest. Listen to the stethoscope by doctor LOL very annoying as I was nowhere near unwell enough even as sick as I was to be wasting their time. I also came down with a sore throat that same year but the delay in getting my PCR results back which were a prerequisite for face-to-face care with my GP meant that my throat got significantly worse ulcerated and I ended up getting put onto three different antibiotics at once because I was so unwell. Thank goodness these days are over never to be seen again let’s hope- 🤞🏻🤞🏻 At the end of the day, if you’re unwell, you’re unwell, no one chooses to get sick there’s nothing you can do about it. I love live entertainment When I go cruising probably my favourite thing to do besides morning and afternoon tea looking out to see and cocktails at sunset but not at the expense of someone’s health😊 any passenger who was upset about that is not worth worrying about as I’m sure your ship explained exactly why the show was canceled ? I must say a nebuliser at home has given me great piece of mind when things go south. Hope your beck at work and feeling better David Young 39 Brisbane Australia.
