Would be nice if you would slow it down a little. You have a lot of words spread out on each frame and there is no time after reading it all to even look at the picture. Otherwise, a nice video. I'm just not a speed reader plus I like to study the pics a little longer

I wish the guy had slowed down. It's irritating to keep pausing to find out who it was that had died, when, where, etc.

A tasteful tribute to the silent stars. Respectful. "Well Done" doesn't seem praiseful enough. I put the picture of Mary Miles Minter into my favorites file. I recommend anyone interested in Holly Wood history to read "A CAST OF KILLERS" where King Vidor's notes led to the writing of the book. Mary suffered disappointments in a fight for independence and in her choice of a lover. Many of the early silent film stars didn't receive the respect they deserved from the studios they worked at. Each actor shows the human condition in their lives.

Thank you for a wonderful tribute. I think you included every major star and quite a few that I had not heard of before. There were some lesser known stars that didn't get included, but it would have been near impossible to include all of them. I'd be curious to know who the last four or five silent screen actors were to leave this world (not counting bit players or babies or little kids who appeared in films). I'm guessing that Anita Page was the last one. May God grant all of them eternal peace and rest. As a side note, my only criticism is that I kept having to hit the pause button in order to read the info presented for each star.

OOPS. Janet Gaynor didn't win 3 Oscars. In the first year of the Oscars, awards were given for achievements in multiple films. So, 1 Oscar but for her performances in 3 films.

Beautiful music along with the tributes to these legends. We owe them so much respect for all they’ve done. We would not have the movies today without them. I hope they are never forgotten. RIP to all of them.

Brigette Helm from Metropolis is best known today for her rendering in this film. It was a cut above of all movies made in its day. Many still marvel at the magic and theatrical production of this marvelous film. Even though it states cause of death: unknown. I suspect given the age of her death in 1996 it more than likely was natural causes.
