Context is everything here. He seems a little over the top but on the other hand he is responsible for her well being in a romantic and dv themed film, with himself as the bad guy and love interest. Also he seems either star struck, a bit as a people pleaser and trying to match her energy -since he is responding. There are so many overlaps. I think in this movie especially, the position of director and actor should not have been combined in one person. It just makes everything harder to balance.

Yes part of the trouble is that Justin is way too nice too kind too empathetic. Not heard of Baldoni before but everything I’ve seen and heard makes me believe his version of events. I think he’s apologizing because she said his response “didn’t feel great for her, Ryan or Taylor.” That’s my read anyway. It’s hard to listen to. It’s fine for him to apologize that her feelings got hurt but he then needed to set some gentle boundaries because she’s an actress not a god damn writer. But I do think he was nervous she’d unleash the dragons. Not to mention she hadn’t signed her contract yet. Also I think when he apologizes for directors in the past he’s addressing them not taking her creative input because she mentions that in her text. Christ on a cracker I hope he learned his lesson…not all women are kind.

I hope this lady did not conjure up these horrific accusations for power play. It is such a serious accusation whose consequences could damn her and her husband for life. It's the only reason I am giving her the benefit of the doubt until it's all played out. She seems smart enough to know this would be a career ending move. Not to mention the enormous damage it would cause other potential victims in this industry. There should be serious consequences for doing something that horrible.

Justin thought it was Blake writing and making changes. He even grovelled and apologised because she didn't like his response, which really makes me sick. Then it comes out that it was actually Ryan's rewrite! that upsets me so much. Blake, Ryan and Taylor bullied their way through the making of this movie and ended up messing up the whole project. I really would love to see Justin's cut of the movie because she actually cared about the subject matter and the victims and survivors of domestic violence. I am sure his cut will definitely be better than hers. I am so angry when I listen to his apology knowing now everything she has done to weasel her way to steal the movie and steal the credit for all the years of work that went into this whole project.
