Greetings from Caracas Venezuela. That's wonderful. You are an amazing professor in jazz Improvization. You remind me Mel Tormé but in your own groove. You're swinging. Congrats

Hi, I love the clarity and intonation of your scat singing. Do you by chance teach jazz voice or do online lessons?
@takiwasaki1233 ай бұрын
Yes indeed I do:) If you’re interested in online lessons, shoot me an email!

This video is so good and you're quite a talented jazz vocalist. Immediately subscribing. One one tiny critique: I would have spelled the end of phrase 2 as "dayow" not only because it more clearly communicates the proper pronunciation but it's also just a lot of fun.

So good!!! And oohh I love your bass!! Which brand or model is it? Thaanks! 🤗
@takiwasaki1233 ай бұрын
It’s a u-bass from Hadean. I actually don’t recommend it. I got a cheap one and it has some connection noise. I had a friend that has a kala u bass which was a beauty, so I recommend that one:)

@@takiwasaki123 Heey thank you so much for your reply!!! Oki, I'll keep that in mind. I had a normal bass but someone stole it :( Now I feel like I want something smaller, maybe easier to handle even. Anyway, I gotta say... I quite enjoy your Jazz Vocal Improv videos!

Really enjoying these videos. I joined a vocal jazz ensemble this past month and we’ll be working on transcribing solos in the 2nd half of the semester. Your content is giving me a better idea of how to approach the learning process. Thanks!

How do you conceptualize singing those chromatic lines in your head while keeping intonation intact?
@jessicataylor549 ай бұрын
It would be nice if I could figure out this shit by myself without having to pay someone. So frustrating
