Love finding out the final section where it goes insanely fast was Hackett. It just gets absolutely chaotic to play on drums particularly. Such a fantastic song

The instrumental section reminds me of The Steppes from Steve Hackett's Defector. And, talking about instrumental songs Mr Hackett, can you please play The Waiting Room live one of these days? Thank you so very much.

Interesting explanation by Steve, many thanks. Really appreciate it. Interesting also how the lyrics describe a more general sinister activity, like humans manipulation.

I have always thought it should have been a big hit. To be honest, I think if someone like Beyonce covered it, it still could be.

Great conclusion to the album. Voyage of the Acolyte is probably my favorite of your solo albums.

It may not be your melody but no-one plays it like you do, Steve. Brings me to the edge of tears whenever I hear you play it. So happy to hear that you love it too. I think you’re right that you think it’s difficult to leave out. The whole piece is very special. Thank you for the part you played in making it what it is.

Under appreciated gem of a track. Steve’s guitar work has so much desperation & sorrow that matches excellently to Pete’s lyrics. Of course Banks has to have the last say but his piano work right at the end is just the f***king best!

Mr Hackett! On May 8th, 1994, the then Mr David Palmer did a concert playing symphonic Jethro Tull, at Teatro Teresa Carreño, Caracas Venezuela. I was there! During the intermission, a guitarrist came from backstage and played solo your "Horizon's" . We were amazed!! Was it you?
