I am as prepared for Christmas as I am going to be, if I missed anyone there is some universal gift card in my wallet (cash) I can stick in a card and make do! LOL!!! I am going to try and do some of year end wrap up as well, I should have started already but in typical fashion I will frantically get it done last minute LOL! Looking forward to what 2025 brings and like you I am going to try and focus on what I have here and resist the urge to get a bunch more. I do have the Astute coming and will have to get the Honda City Turbo and the Bigwig but other than those I don't have plans on anything new. I am sure I will break and get something else along the way, I know my will power is only but so strong! Take care Glenn and thanks for the content over the last year, I have enjoyed it!

No stress with shopping. Shops're open on December 24th until 2 p.m.. So 1 p.m. ist still early to go for giftes😂😂😂 Nice channel upgrade Glenn. I'm fine with the overlay music. To get the running sound in, isn't easy. It works on crawlers, when you're close up to the cars. But for fast cars you probably hear more the sound of your steering wheel on the radio. Not a big fan of music in vids purely as too many have the volume levels far to high. I like the SBG running vids as he does a little bit with music then finishes with talking about the truck. Have a good un my friend

Feeling you Glenn.....its that funny time of year where the hobby is ultimately pushed to one side due to the weather,christmas,work etc. We all have busy lives,and limited time.....which means we have to prioritise. Im guna try and get an xmas video out,but havent even bought one present or writen one card yet!😮 As for the Hornet evo.....tempting as it is,i have also passed on this one. If iwant to drive my hornet i will,and if i want to drive my dt02 i also will.....is there really any point in owning a hybrid of both??🤔 There comes a point in the hobby where i feel that we need to streamline our collection,and only go for things that we REALLY want. Although saying that,i think that you may regret selling the Turbo Scorpion buddy! Have a great Christmas mate,and just remember springs right around the corner! 😊👍 👍

Great ramblings Glenn! Totally get it…you gotta do what you’re interested in. Sounds great that you guys get together too…adds to the fun of this for sure. I used to have HO sale but moved to N but always preferred RC so didn’t do much with it in the end. But I still have a small N scale set. But price has taken me out of that hobby. Here in canada cars can be $32 or more a piece so the cost of train stuff has got out of hand. I can get way more stuff in the RC world. Look forward to seeing where your channel goes…

I hope you and you family have happy and healthy holidays. A change of direction can be good. It can get you motivated. The Santa motorcycle ride should provide some laughs. I think doing things for you channel that are fun for you may be a good idea. At Halloween I got my Traxxas Summit out. I covered with spider webs and posable spiders. I attached an old, rusty kid's wagon with two pumpkin bowls of candy. When the kids came around I drove it up they could pick up some candy. I was told by the kids it was cool. It was a lot of fun with an r/c car. I think doing fun things for you with r/c will be good for you and your channel. For example, when you did speed runs with your friends and you were laughing and having a good time. It was fun to watch. I think your past crawling videos were good. Two guys I watch, Derby City RC and Discipline RC, have fun with their cars. I apologize for my long winded comments. Have fun!

Enjoy doing what you feel like doing! I know the feeling of the un-motivation monster, it is been haunting me lately as well! In the new year my focus is going to be getting what I have here knocked out and not as much on the new and shiny things that keep popping up. I do know I will be getting a few, supposedly the Bigwig is making a return so that will be one I will be getting. Lord only knows what else I am going to have to flip a coin over but I am going to have to focus on what I have here to get through. Same amount of fun doing the ones here as new ones coming in and a lot cheaper! LOL! Have a great weekend Glenn!

That brings back some memories! I raced the Tamiya Eurocup, with a FF01 Clio, I believe 1994. Most of the year with my normal fluorescent yellow & orange paint scheme, but I did spend ages painting a Gulf McLaren F1GTR livery onto a Clio body and won the concourse at the Ashby round. That was also one of my best events, with second in the A final. Came 4th overall in the championship at the end of the year, so missed out on going to the European Eurocup final by 1 point. Got kicked out of the standard front wheel drive class for the following year so raced an FF01 in the modified class, with the 4 wheel drives. Still made the bottom of the A finals, but the handling of an FF01 with a modified motor was hilarious. Especially in short wheelbase form and Clio body. Moved to the loger wheelbase and civic body after a couple of events. Had trouble driving near the end of races as I was laughing so much!

Excellent piece of personal RC history Glenn! I just love hearing people's experiences from back in the day. And, absolutely love the project car, nostalgia driven projects stimulate so much passion, and are highly rewarding. Those fleet of Ambrosia cars looked awesome, all in the same livery! Cool story regarding the mysterious bulkhead find..... I think sometimes things are just meant to be, everything happens for a reason! That Clio is guna look great on display! 😊 👍 👍

Very cool to see the old photos and to hear the stories of your past in RC. I never raced so these stories are usually rather fascinating to me. I was just a dumb kid out driving through mud puddles even though I knew I shouldn't and trying to drive and jump over everything I could in the yard!

Gavin and Glenn have a lot to answer to buddy!😅 And yeah,we've all been there mate.....ive lost track of how many cars I've ended up with after a few too many ciders and some random ebay scrolling at 2 in the morning!!😅 The worst is when you get that 'congratulations,you have won this auction' notification,and you have absolutely no recollection of bidding on the item!!!😂 (thats why i now own no less than 4 monster beetles! 🙄) But,you done well there mate,tne TA02 is an insanely good chassis ......it drives so well,and will p*ss all over a tt02 any day! And,who doesn't love a Porsche body? As for the colour.....entirely up to you .mate,but i would personally go for metallic black!😊👍 👍

Glenn…wow! What an amazing find!! You’re going to love the TA02 Chassis. It was probably my favourite on road chassis build to date. So cool it came with the conversion kit too! As to colours…hmmmmm…Porsche yellow with those wheels could look great or a deep metallic red? I might have to look into buyee more if you’re finding these sorts of kits…wow.

That should be great when it's all done. It should be neat with the added features. I. think you should do a google search of the real car and get some color ideas, because you can see before hand if there was color you hand in mind and if looks good. That was really well packed. First think I thought was you can make some neat small scale crawling obstacles with the packing materials, if you have a small scale crawler. When your all done with it you can just recycle the materials.Nice choice.
