I really appreciate this video. I took vector calculus over two years ago and thought I forgot a lot from the class, but after watching this video realized that I remembered more than I thought

this was very very helpful was a bit too fast though as i had to keep processing so many things just said while listening to what is being said after it really rests on your previous understanding (strong understanding) of previous topics)

When you integrate then you add a constant. Why can't you subtract a constant?

research found that lebnitz stealed madhvacharya series and named it lebnitz theorem. it is quite possible that differentiation may has been stealed from ancient indian textbooks. so we know that Newton laws are already mentioned in the ancient textbook of India. What should we conclude then?

I believe you used the wrong compounding interest formula to start the video. For 50% twice a year, it should be shown in the form (p+1/2p)(p+1/2p). And for payments made 3 times a year it should be shown in the form (p+1/3p)(p+1/3p)(p+1/3p). They are then combined into their exponent forms using the power rule, and there is no need for any factorization or expansion to begin limit evaluation of the function.

At around 6:22 I think you made a slight mistake in your wording. “Because the derivative is itself, this makes y = e^x one of the fastest growing functions.” That’s not the reason it grows fast, the reason is because it’s an exponential. For example y=10^x grows faster than y=e^x even though it’s not equal to its derivative.

Why you say e^x is one of the fastest growing functions? 10^x is growing faster. So its fast growth is not specific to e or specific to e being the special number that makes the derivative equal to the function.
