I have a 2000 mercedes C 230 Kompressor that only has first gear or second and reverse, its stuck in lymp mode the reverse lights dont work and the gear selector next to the clock is lit up but blank it only goes 40 mph and pulls good but no gear changes i toof the valve body out and rplaced the conducter plate and put 8 quarts of new fluid but still same thing, i put a used transmission controller in and the car wont start the starter is locked out Ive got 10 codes set like p702 -o94 P 1525 P 1999-40 , I just cant seem to figure out what is wrong with this car The shifter has a rheostat thing that moves with the shifter, this car sat for 7 years so it could be anything

With the Oil Pump sprocket you need to be more spacific, there is a raised side and a lower side, can;t just tell people to go off the Dark Link because not all of them have a Dark Link.... Torque Specs would have been great to have too. As for bench checks... Would have been nice if you did it on video so we know what we are hearing and what is normal and what is not normalll....

Would it make sense to delete the disabled parts in the final version? For example, the main video you have is always 'in the background' which adds to the size of the recording and also seems like you could delete it when it's not being shown on the screen. Is there a reason you would or would not leave them in? Also, is there a reason you need to align the audio vs. deleting all of them except for one? Hopefully that makes sense.

These gears cannot cross in the middle, some one is going to have to reach around to the other side.

My CVT transmission on my Mitsubishi doesn’t shift gears automatically while on drive (D)mode it remains on 1st gear. When I use manual mode (+/-) gears shifts smoothly. Do you have an idea how to solve this issue ?

Converters are TRANSMISSION COMPONENTS and are INTEGRAL to the transmission and one is useless without the other. A converter is not to an automatic - or powershift - transmission what a clutch is to a manual. A manual can "work" without a clutch. A clutch can be used to 'limp home" a manual trans not completely "blown". "Building" an auto without replacing the converter AND "external" components like coolers may be a "build" but it is not a "rebuild:.

The 1 thousandth the pinion measurement was off could be due to several factors. I would go with it.

Quick question…I accidentally broke off the G solenoid connector for the wiring harness (according to your video it is the default on/off solenoid) on my 8L90 valve body. Can I replace that single solenoid without replacing the whole valve body? I would assume so. That particular solenoid was not covered in your video. It seems I’m not the only one to do this removing the pan. Please help!

The voltage supply shouldn't vary on an active abs sensor. A constant voltage is required to ensure the dc response from the sensor is consistent with the actual wheel speed and not the applied voltage. The active sensor has a hall affect transistor to sense the alternating magnetic field from the reluctor ring to determine speed and rotation direction of wheel and the ecu conversion to a speed indicator
