@@thaumiumking9591 I'm going through star technology rn which is Greg tech but in a more modern pack and at least is fast to begin with Maybe a egnimatica pack, those range in length and difficulty If you want to go back to 1.7.10 blight fall is a good pack with story and a decent mod selection And my final recommendation for a gregtech pack would be FTB interactions due to it mixing a wide range of mods together all for a good experience without also being stupidly difficult

I found your channel these days and I really liked this series, sad I didn't follow from the beginning I wish I could have helped by commenting tips. And you inspired me to replay this pack but this time I want to try it hardcore (If I typed something wrong, sorry, my English isn't very good)

I feel like SevTech is a good concept with a strong start, but all these recent oddities (like the fuel canister) pull it down. Also with all those cool mods I feel like there's much more potential for a lot more ages for players who enjoy slow progression. Going to the moon came really early compared to how you still use Immersive Engineering wires to transport energy.

If you set the machines to export up into interfaces you won't need the import busses

Quick tip: You can use enriching chamber to create enriched redstone (and other materials). Which these you can infuse 8 items instead of 1.
@thaumiumking959128 күн бұрын
I know about enriched materials and I use them for diamond and obsidian, but for redstone it's so cheap that I'd rather have the 1-1 crafting for easy calculations.

Just a couple bits of info I hope will help. If you put mechanical power into the filtered hopper (into one of those little white circles), it stops the ghast spawn/hopper breaking. Clutch boxes are a way to turn a system on/off using mechanical power without redstone. Power can be transferred directly through, so the output is always opposite the input, applying mechanical power from the sides cuts power to the output. Probably not too useful for you now. Cauldron's/kilns only need 1 heat source, but accept a 3x3 grid under them, the more flames the faster they work and they can share flames. That's what the image was trying to show in the book. Hopefully that's useful. Really enjoying the series as always.
@thaumiumking95912 ай бұрын
Thanks for the tips, I'll definitely make sure to fix the filtered hopper. I still don't see how useful the clutchbox would be (as you mentioned) but at least knowing how it works could help in the future. I kinda knew about the 3x3 under the cauldron but I didn't bring it up in the video because then I'd have to do it. Either way, very useful. Thanks for watching

Hey again dude. I know you've done tinkers now, but if you do want to knock of Baykok, there's only really 2 more things you can do. First is just add more drums and wind chimes, the second is, windchimes get a bonus if they are hung from leaves (not sure if they need to be attached to a tree or not). You can tell the bonus us applied because particles start to fall from them. It's still tough but makes the ritual possible. Hope that helps 😁

Yo dude, I've been watching your series and enjoying it quite a bit. The betweenlands is a really challenging mod with some very specific mechanics. But it can net you some REALLY good gear. Not really needed for progression but they are really good for QoL and making other dimensions easier. Also you need a rare drop to get access to journey map early. If you don't want to include it in videos it might be worth doing off camera if you get interested.
@thaumiumking95913 ай бұрын
I kept reading that the betweenlands can give OP gear, but I didn't know about the QoL stuff. I'll have to check that out when it comes up.

I think in this new editing style you cut out the "setting a small goal" phase to often or maybe it could be a improvement in the commenting style. What I mean by that: e.g. at 6:46 you put a silkworm in the tree, but there is the why missing. Well obvious it is for the sieves. But wherefore are the sieves. An other example would be when you made the crucible starting at 7:47. Currently ist is like: Here is that, therefore that and therefore that. At least for myself speaking I like it when there is a plan like: I need that, that and that to end up there and then doing it. Of course it doesn't have to be too detailed. I hope you get what I mean. So that is my point of view but I grew up with unedited lets plays, so take that with a grain of salt. Other than that, I like your new project :)
@thaumiumking95917 ай бұрын
Now, that you mention it, I think I cut out too much for the sake of speeding up the start, I just assumed that with how stale the early game is that everyone would know it. I'll leave more in now to show the process, thanks for the feedback.
