many glaring issues, one is you ignoring useful comments. but i feel like saying that won't be enough to change anything about that. but ive been trying to help and i'll continue until being told to stop. 1. try to disable only EMI, not JEI to see if recipe being wrong while making pattern fixes 2. you need only 1 network switch not 2. 3. sterile cleanroom cant do normal cleanroom recipe so you need atleast 2 cleanroom 4. try to make the wetware circuits completely passive (without requester if you can) because they takes forever and you'll need ungodly amount later the line. 5. think of upgrading the assembly lines as they'll soon become quite the bottleneck they're probably are more things i thought watching but can't remember any else for now

1. I don't ignore all the comments (clearly as I referenced one in this very video), it just seems that way because at least 50% of them are either: repeat comments from people I've already answered, something from the wrong version of the pack / later in the progression, or just common sense advice that I already know. 2. I've tried disabling EMI, but the few times I tried, it either completely disabled JEI or did nothing at all (that's why I had to re-install the pack previously). I don't really know what I'm doing though, so I'd rather just deal with EMI than risk corrupting the world at this point. 3. Your points 2 and 3 are both very helpful, I didn't know that about the cleanroom or network switch, so thanks for the tips there. And I think you can already guess my answer to your points 4 and 5 based on what I've just said or (again) answered previously. And I'm not telling you to stop commenting, just make sure what your saying isn't redundant if you want me to keep listening.

@@Thaumiumking9 tell me your version of star tech, i'll test it myself about the EMI/JEI and see if i can do anything about it. although not intentionally, you dont notice every comment for sure (im not only talking about myself btw) or perhaps your memory of the comment just fails you. (dont worry, my memory is wayy worse). 😅 nothing i say is really redundant imo otherwise i wouldn't say those in first place, its upto you to choose what you feel is redundant and ignore those (i really cant help in this regard, sorry) and lastly, obviously happy gregging.

​@@Thaumiumking9 it seems due to microsoft breaking something with the forge link, beta 10 hotfix 4 (or the 1.19.x version more accurately) wont work without changing metadata server in my launcher which is too much of a pain for me right now 😭 i'll see if i can somehow run it or get a forge copy from someone who plays that version but have no hope from this.

@@Thaumiumking9 well i didn't find anyone playing that version so i went to the old friend binary sorting lmao anyway i got the beta 10 hotfix 4 version running and checked if emi was bugged... and yea it was the same for me. then i disabled EMI from launcher and opened the game again and voila! EMI was gone and JEI was working perfectly. and you'll be happy to know that I tested if pattern encoding worked properly in JEI and just like I said... for both item and fluid amount, JEI works accurate. no more tweaking recipe and you can even pin item from the crafting window (which means if you are missing anything while trying to make from ae2, you can just pin items from that window) 🎉🎊 now all you have to do is disable EMI from the launcher (or go to the mods folder and just delete emi_version.jar), i dont even use EMI in 1.20.1 tbh. and don't worry, disabling mods will never corrupt your save. however if you are still scared, just make a backup of the instance or the world file (located in saves folder)

I think it might be time to make a basement level. Putting it about 20 blocks lower than your ground floor it'll give you more places to put things without having to lay ridiculous amounts of cable, and sprawling base out across even more chunks.

I like the sprawl. I think having a huge amount of cables makes it look more complicated and impressive even if it isn't. I know it's expensive and annoying to make and use, but I like it.

instead of putting in the fluid for each recipe in the cutting saw, you can just input the items and have the lubricant automatically supplied; all the recipes that can take distilled water can use lubricant I believe.

The statistics screen says 22.24 days (~540 hours), but It's a bit hard to tell because some of it is afk. So I'd guess ~450 hours of active play and at least 50 more to finish.

you should see my reply to your previous video about EMI as you misunderstood that part as disabling JEI too. (this might solve the pattern having wrong quantity, you can also try updating emi) also you probably want to make atleast 2 data bank. first bank will hold the researchs and send data to the second data bank then the 2nd one will receive the data and send the data to multiple assembly lines (8 max for one bank i think) and holy hell the chemical plant just straight up discards the famous platline and naqline, yea i dont like when the devs add things like this. moni is lot better in this regard thankfully

You cant fix emi getting wrong amounts in 1.19 but its fixed in 1.20 there are no more updates to 1.19

Delta comes out this monday i really recommend to upgrade because it makes wep naq time 4x shorter if you use parallel and it buffs gt turbines so they make 1A of UIV at max

right i forgot to mention one other thing. for the parallel hatches to work properly, the recipe input and output should also be multiplied by the parallel factor 4x parallel hatch should have: 4 x input -> 4 x output although probably better to just make 256x in the first place, that way you wont have to update the recipe later. or you could use 64x instead if 256 feels too much. ill say this again, but seriously just use subnets for multiblocks,

I've noticed the parallel when the machines stop working, but it's also really inconsistant and some machines don't care and do the max possible anyway. I kinda just guess what it wants then switch to the right method when it breaks.

@@Thaumiumking9 parallel hatch only works very properly in 1.20.1 version but you can try modifying the pattern a bit (make sure bus and hatches have enough space to work) also check if your version has the pattern modifier from extendedAE

damn, you just completely forgot my advice and ignored the video i sent you as reference. not to mention, i understand not changing all the previous recipes but why the recipes going from now also have fluid substitute on for no reason ? also so many people including me already gave much explanation about research in greg. also using 1 assembly line going forward would be horrible. that platform is simply not big enough for assembly lines and research, MOVE IT ELSEWHERE. and man, the pipez thing looks so ugly, I have never seen any greg player not using subnets on multiblocks (there's no recipe conflict and you never have to babysit them). also try disabling EMI from whatever launcher you play or manually rename the emi.jar to emi.jar.deactivation. that might fix the issue with recipe not filling correctly when making a recipe for something. also at this stage you should hardly use anything EMI has to offer. (honestly EMI is a buggy mess, i dont use it even in moni) lastly, This was a horrible pack to chose to play modern gregtech. the quest system is absolutely worthless and even the latest version is hardly any good. a much much much better option would be either Monifactory or something I played (ATM9). I know ATM9 isnt a greg focused pack and greg is mostly side content. but even with that it does a lot better job to teach greg to new players. (as of now, the quest is better in atm9 than even moni) well ill end my ranting here, have a good day everyone and happy gregging.

Your right, I forgot to change the substitution, but it also doesn't really matter? Sure it's like 10 ticks quicker on small recipes, but it doesn't fix any bottlenecking that's already going on. Subtle optimisations don't fix the glaring problems with my automation that I've already addressed / can't change. I always knew I'd move the research when it started getting bigger, so the next time I upgrade it or the assembly line I'll move it to it's own platform. And last, I didn't know anything about this pack when choosing it, I knew literally nothing about gregtech when I started. And I only chose it because it was recommended by another commenter, so go tell them off, not me. And I must be mis-interpreting you, because I'm sure as hell not disabling JEI, it's the single most useful mod in this pack.

​@@Thaumiumking9 welp, sorry if it felt i was telling you off, im only trying to help. you choosing this pack is in no way your fault even if it wasn't someone else telling you. how were you supposed to know about the multitude of issues this modpack has. (lot fixed, lot still there) about the substitution, it feels weird like it's triggering my OCD kinda thing ? like i know that you know turning it off is better but still not doing it feels like itchy. 😅 also no im not telling you to disable JEI, it would become unplayable then. Im telling you to disable the messy, buggy, incomplete trash that is EMI (a JEI addon). JEI will let you pin items from anywhere btw (even AE2 crafting window which EMI prevents you for some reason) and apparently it would also fix the issue with recipe having wrong amounts (saw from another comment) honestly, greg modern is nearly not this frustrating as you feel currently, gtm as a mod punishes not knowing more than other mods thats why it feel a little frustrating to you (or atleast thats the impression i sometime get) and i feel like its a shame cause greg is very fun and hope you dont give up on it. i wish you all the best, hopefully you continue to have fun going forward.

10:00 computer shoul be exetended in sebth nit hight (longer 2x5 not higher) Check ME INPUT PATTERN BUSS (or any ME INPUT/OUTPUT). They are extremely good for machines with multiple conflicted recipes. IDK if they are available in your version.

also pipez are notorious for how laggy they are, SERIOUSLY stop using ME ingredient buffer and just make a subnet, they are less tps harming then whatever you're doing, they take less space, they look better, they work more reliably and with blocking mode too. and by now you have done more complicated things than a simple subnet so that shouldn't also be a issue. although subnets are extremely simple in first place

I know pipez is laggy, but they're almost exclusively bad in multiplayer or in an extreme quantity. I guarantee it would not make a noticeable difference if I changed them.

always turn off substitution and fluid substitution when you don't need them, turning them on for no reason adds extra cycle of conditional statement checking every tick for no reason basically it reduces your performance of the game. also crafting cards are also bad, try to avoid them

I'm aware of the substitution problem, but by the time I learned about it I already had 100s of patterns to change, and I really don't care about saving a handful of ticks when crafting. And it's almost completely negated by crafting in bulk anyway. Also crafting cards are not bad. By all means, they're a side-grade to the requester for more specific processing lines. At least give me a reason why their bad if you want to change my mind.

@@Thaumiumking9 they are bad in terms of performance i.e. they are laggy and people tend to just completely ignore them that being said the amount you have is completely fine and i doubt you will ever get to a noticeable amount of lag

@@Thaumiumking9 as someone already said, they're bad for performance and as far as i know it's the same in older 1.7/1.12 version too cause i see gtnh players also heavily advice against using them. my bad for forgetting to mention why crafting cards were bad. requester also isn't the best thing for tps but they're better than crafting cards so you may use requester instead of crafting cards as for the patterns, I'm not telling you to change/fix all the previous recipes but you might want to change from now on. especially since now that you know better i think you should set a better example. good luck and have fun

would you make efficient infrastructure and passive line so you don't have to babysit machines and wait for a long time to craft anything? TK9: nah, I'd wait 🗿 (joking aside, the waiting game is only going to get worse from now on so i guess, you'll soon find time to start making more efficient infrastructure kekw) also make a data bank to store the research data (also you can do this design for relatively clean cable management) and also notice how i setup the subnetwork for assembly line that way you dont have to babysit it, since it shouldn't get stuck ever. link and time: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iqXEd4WubKxkj6csi=5ahvEXCmS46-OwNL&t=206 also i would've used pattern p2p for assembly lines but i didn't knew about them at that time.

Hey, the data bank can store data in bulk and send all its research to multiple assembly lines. Also sorry I keep on complaining but PLEASE SET UP PASSIVE. The long recipe times could be avoided if the things like the platline was it's own separate process. End of rant.

The whole thing, or just the final dust? Assuming the rest of the platline is working, then you probably need an additional fluid output slot so that it can fit the hydrogen and rhodium. Try a quad output hatch or just add another normal one and see if that fixes it.

Are you using a small machine or a multiblock? The small machine should work fine assuming that it's EV, but for the multiblock the prior advice still applies, it needs at least 2 slots to output the fluids. Also, I don't have a discord server yet.

before anyone else says it yes he could upgrade to 1.20 version The process is a pain as it breaks quite a few things like sieving and filters you have set would need to be checked even the discord says if you intend to upgrade download a new instance of the 1.20 version and copy your save across

change the pattern/way the craft is put in so instead of 1,2,3 use 3,2,1 of the craft that is causing problems this is due to the craft having ingredients that are used in another craft by changing the order that they are put into the machine it can help stop this problem

the dragonsteel, in the alloy blast smelting, doesnt requires sunflower and its even cheaper (by material to output, not so much of time)

as a matter of fact the alloy blast smelting, makes alloy material more material efficient, if you wanna take a look into that
