If you need the exact number of casings on the tower for example you can click the P:0 button in the multiblock info to see other variations of the multiblock.

For the water, you're really better off just using the water cell from AE2, it is cheap and infinite, just like the cobble. For the usage of the essence, water essence is mostly used for salt water into electrolysis as the best source for chlorine, which you're gonna need a ton of. Distilled water can also be useful, though is lesser quantities, witch water has a single usage at your stage and after, and it's not even used all the time, so just sticking with a large barrel from the very early game is an option. I'd also encourage you to have one essence burner for liquid blaze, at it is as easy to setup as the rest, and is always used for a few things here and there. Improved tips for the dirt tower distillation check, you can craft an exchanging gadget that is very cheap, which allows you to replace a certain type of adjacent blocks (for instance dirt) into another block (for instance clean stainless casings). So you could set up the dirt tower, press the ultimine button, check in the top left the amount to be mined, not mine anything, make the casings, and then just everything with the gadget.

Oh yeah, of course the ae2 cell would be better, it slipped my mind at the time. The other essences I was waiting to see what the comments would recommend. So salt water -> chlorine, lava, and liquid blaze.

you should start looking into solar like you were talking about. In my world, everything runs on solar. I have more power than I know what to do with. make sure you invest in batteries for the solar for the buffer. You are on the right track for the gas distillation. once you have proper power the distillation towers should have no problems anymore. Youll just want to upgrade their power intake when you can but that comes with time.

For energy, its very easy to spam the steam dynamo and a normal dynamo converted to a boiler. The quests say it produces twice as much energy as the other dynamo.
@Novasix32 ай бұрын
The best setup for this is to have 16 boilers all feeding into 5 steam dynamos. If everything has EV upgrade kits and EV injection kits, the fuel efficiency is really high. This specific setup produces a million FE/t but requires all the upgrade and injection kits.
@Thaumiumking92 ай бұрын
I think I'll just use solar panels, I don't want to use any fuel anymore. If the solar panels are too expensive or inefficient, then I'll use the boilers.
@Novasix32 ай бұрын
@@Thaumiumking9 The good solar panels are still a bit away. IMO this boiler + steam setup with lapidary boilers on diamonds is easy to do, but I understand it sounds annoying to setup
@6tobi6hana62 ай бұрын
Personaly i wont recommend doing that it fells like normal dynamos produce more i had power problems with boilers but changing them to dynamos fixed them
@Novasix32 ай бұрын
@@6tobi6hana6 In general, boilers are more efficient. If you take a setup with 10 dynamos and another with 16 boilers + steam dynamos, they'll produce the same exact power, but the fuel efficiency is miles better for the second setup. But you need all EV kits and EV injection Kits

There’s an infinite water cover from gregtech that can put on a greg machine and input hatches

An idea. If you need to many channels for the output of refineries, why not use LaserIO on all the outputs and dump it into one ME Interface? That's like 10 or more channels saved
@Thaumiumking92 ай бұрын
The import bus spam was a temporary solution, I just needed something quickly. But this could be my excuse to finally invest in lazerIO as I really can't think of another easy way to do it.

did you use an infinite water cell from ae2?
@Bmnbed12 ай бұрын
the infinite water cell is quite cheap and so is the cobble one
@Thaumiumking92 ай бұрын
I forgot about that, I should've made that at the same time as the cobble.
