Talking about a word salad! You’re describing the 300 while showing the 9mm and then describing the 9mm while showing the 300! WTH? Also pointing out wrong magazines and features. Not good.

I would be interested to see how different porting patterns compared. I would think the straight ports at the top of the barrel would be the most effective. But more is better?

Why did you decide to use a 308 spring instead of the tubbs 556 spring in your 8" custom banshee?

This seems to be a misunderstanding in the 2011 community but atlas does not make guns that lock back and don’t lock back. It’s the magazines and the follower that has a little lip that catches and locks back or doesn’t it has absolutely nothing to do with the pistol, it has everything to do with the magazine and the plastic follower inside of it.
@ChestersHobbies
@ChestersHobbies 3 күн бұрын
You're absolutely correct. However, they also offer this standard slide stop that interfaces with lockback magazines, or they offer a thumb rest slide stop that makes the gun not lock back regardless of which magazines you're using. That's what I was referring to. I purchased an Erebus of my own, and swapped in that thumb rest slide stop. I really like it. Thanks for watching!

@ I got that gas pedal thumb rest slide stop and it actually does lock back with that also. Especially if you ride your thumbs heavy forward and at the front of the gas pedal, it will actually lock back your slide on a full mag so I stopped using it.. I have 5 atlas pistols

@photosplusbypeter6877 Right on, sounds like you've got a great collection, congrats! I haven't had that issue with mine yet but I could see that being frustrating.

Hey just wanted to say thanks, I geeked out on all your videos comparing/rating different 9mm pcc’s and because you were so hyped on your custom banshee I built out the same build and it’s blown my mind. I have some fun guns but this one is special in so many ways. Appreciate the content keep it up 🤙

Why do you never fully load your mags lol
@ChestersHobbies
@ChestersHobbies 4 күн бұрын
I realize that may seem odd! I load like this so I have a wide variety of different camera angles for my intros, since ammo is expensive and I'm a one man operation without sponsorships, I've gotta be strategic in how I film and load accordingly. If I did full mags, I would burn through ammo much quicker and have less interesting camera angles available when editing. Hopefully that makes sense - thanks for watching!

Responded to your comment on the other video but will do so here as well for anyone else that mat be curious. I used two different stocks in this video. I used a sig minimalist plus stock, I believe primarily in 3rd person shotd, and for the POV shots I used a JMAC Customs ST-6 folding stock tube with an MFT Minimalist stock. Thanks for watching, enjoy your dissent!

@ChestersHobbies
@ChestersHobbies 2 күн бұрын
Interesting question. The sandhawk is gorgeous but I haven't had the opportunity to handle or shoot one personally. I've seen videos of it compared to a Staccato XC and they were pretty similar. If that's the case, I think the Erebus would slightly edge it out. But when we get to these levels of performance we're definitely splitting hairs. Both the Sandhawk and Erebus are a vibe, just a matter of which one speaks to you the most. Thanks for watching!

People who think that you talk too fast should just press the keys ' Shift + <' and make the video play slightly slower. That being said, although I have recently seen the previous video to this one, I'm not really actively comparing this one to that one. I will say that I do enjoy your tone and cadence in this one. It's very cozy and nice. Most guntubers are pretty fking annoying with their intonation and manner of speech, and usually speak in a straight up obnoxious way (but then again, most people speak in a rather obnoxious manner regardless of their diction or lexicon. It's like they have zero self awareness in the way their contort their mouths and activate their vocal cords, probably because they are, in fact, not self aware and don't seem to care that the sound of their voice may actually be grating). You on the other hand are a rather good speaker and I think this tone and pace fits you well

I have the Spear LT and am very happy with how it shoots. The MCX line has such a nice recoil impulse, like a gentle thump with minimal muzzle movement. I'm excited for the Bren 3 to come stateside.

That's been reported in some of the 4.5" barrel variants. Mine started as an 8" and had no issues. When I upgraded the barrel I went with an ILWT trilug barrel that's been great. Hopefully Sig has addressed those issues by now as it was definitely a frustrating situation for those that experienced it.

I like my P-09, but the slide was incredibly tight when I first bought it. I put some oil in it and it’s getting easier to manipulate. The gun shoots well. I own 3 CZ pistols, so I’m definitely a fan of their products.
