To everyone going 'what are they doing you can't clean Cast Iron with soap/dishwasher!' (First of all light dish soap scrubbing is fine) This isn't their classic cast Iron line, it's a new 'heat-treated' cast iron, which is built to be more rust-resistant and apparently can be stuck in a dishwasher.

Nice variation on a Brick Chicken Recipe. That the top cast iron pan has a handle, it makes it considerably easier (and safer) to remove that foiled wrapped bricks.

Nice cross-contamination, Kris. You placed the glass bowl for the brine bag right on the raw chicken contaminated cutting board and then put it right into your refrigerator. Other than that, an informative and amusing video.

Just bought yet another cast iron pan for half the price of dinner out, and I get to keep the pan for basically forever! And thank you for keeping that opening segment, makes me feel more human to see I'm not the only one who doesn't juggle well.

Was the grill still hot when the dog eat off it? Something different but with the surface area is so small can't see doing to much at a time. That pile of meat looked good but some were definitely cold by the time he was done cooking. Still love lodge cast iron

On one hand I get it, the appeal. On the other, I feel like there could be a better material to use. Who goes around someonelse's home and pulls clocks down from the wall? Iron is a huge weight to hang. The plastic clock mechanism feels woefully undervalued in comparison to the face (the mechanism will not outlast or even last the same amount of time as the iron face). Why not just go for plastic that looks like metal? Once upon the wall, it would have the same effect?

Hi! Love all your Lodge products!! Thanks for the video and the recipe. Just made the dough. My dough did not turn out shaggy and did not pour from the mixing bowl. I picked it up and placed it in the oiled bowl. What did I do wrong? Thanks for any suggestions.
@lodgecastironАй бұрын
Hey there! Here is a note from Chef Kris - "by the time you take the dough out of the mixer, it shouldn't be shaggy anymore. It's ready to remove from the mixing bowl when the dough pulls from the sides of the bowl cleanly. " Does this help? Please let us know if you have additional questions 💛
