Was the grill still hot when the dog eat off it? Something different but with the surface area is so small can't see doing to much at a time. That pile of meat looked good but some were definitely cold by the time he was done cooking. Still love lodge cast iron

Love my kickoff grill. I actually might like it more than my classic Lodge sportsman’s grill

It just seems like adding coals for thicker cuts of meat, would be a pain, and kinda dangerous around picnic areas, kids, pets etc. If there was a door to add coals id buy it right now

yeah that design looks like a disaster waiting to happen, not sure why you have to lift the entire top "plate" of it off to add coals. holy crap that is dangerous and poorly thought out.

i’m sure if you got some higher quality charcoal you would be able to - it’s pretty much direct cooking

Saw this on your shake out line and wondered what on earth that was. Make a propane burner for it and now you have a winner... Yes, too complicated, I know

You could probably get an MSR or Primus camp stove, stick it in there, and slide the gas tube through the air vents.

Guy cooks for 10 people on a grill built for two 😂

That’s what I was thinking. Must’ve taken 30+ min to cook enough meat for all. Plus the veggies and fruits? Forget about it.

I’d rather buy the $14 table top char grill than that 12” heavy piece metal

Why you need this when you can build one using bricks
