Hey 派翠老师, great video as always. Would you by any chance have a tutorial on the assembly of the yangqin? I just got one from a store but it was shipped in parts and it came with no manual. The strings are there but I need to fix the bridges and the rest of the pieces, eg. small metal cylinders, felt pads etc. Any tips will be greatly appreciated :)

Hi San Perroud, sorry to hear that.Usually they should at least ensemble the parts for you before they ship.Unfortunately, I do not have an ensemble video.However I do have 2 videos, one is learning to use the strings chart and the other one is how to put on the string.Hopefully it will help. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXi6qqWlhch4g6s kzbin.info/www/bejne/hqXOZIFngpWCbJo For the string chart.You can copy and paste the words 扬琴排列表 and 扬琴正面 on google and you can find the images of how the bridges should be placed. The pads should be used on the right side of the strings.The reply here could not allow me share any images.So I can only roughly tell you.I think you can use the Google images as a reference.Hope this helps.Do let me know if you have any difficulties.Will do my best to help : )

hi Mr Patrick, when you pluck the strings, do you aim for just the first string at the top? or do you aim to hit multiple?

Great question Tyler!I would usually aim for the first string,but when the stick touches the first string,I will strum down multiples strings.Hope it helps : )
