From color theory, blue + yellow = green, so blue shampoo should't work at all unless one seeks for a pale greenish cast. In reality, it's more subtle : the hair is not pure yellow, but more of a beigy yellow warmed up with a tiny hint of red, and the blue shampoo is not a true blue but more of an indigo (blue with a whisper of violet) shade. I love both shampoos on highly bleached hair, the purple one giving a pearlescent hue while the blue one giving extra icy coolness 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Did you guys have to cut off more or was it more like shedding? I’ve never really watched a full video of this but I combed out my locs a couple of years ago and lost about ten grocery bags of dead/shedded hair throughout the whole process without actually cutting a single strand. This is such a lovely thing to do because for some people they’re just going through a lot and their hair is the last thing they’re thinking about. I’m glad she was happy with the end result, and her hair looked super healthy at the end.

I have shoulder length fine hair. I injured my back and was unable to lift anything, much less brushing my hair. It took me 3 hours to get that out, it was so matted😢

Hi where do u get those "hair rakes" (all I can think to call them) that u did her hair with? I'm in same situation if not worse & would LOVE to get my hands on a couple.. You can still brush ur hair oon the daily though so im pretty sure thats why her hair was that matted

The worst thing to do that we all do when we have tangled hair, is that you keep adding conditioner, shampoo, or detangling. All of these will tighten the knot and it will be even worse to unravel.
