Finally!! I've been looking for this video forever, pb made with a ninja blender. If you don't mind me asking a couple questions I would like to know if your blender gets too hot when you use it this way and for so long, have you had this blender for a while and have you blend anything harder then peanut, for example dry chickpeas? Your answers would be so helpful to me. Thank you!!😁

No issues with overheating. Still have the blender. Have not tried chickpeas but that’s a good idea for making hummus!

I dont know what i did wrong, but mine is just a ball of dough as if i was making cookies, even added some oil as one of the recipes suggested to make it smootj

Adding the oil was the error. Notice I used zero oil. I covered that early in my video.

Have had some questions/comments about the kid in the video about where is he now and how is he doing, so thought I’d share… Byron is now 15 and a sophomore in High school. He has all As except for two Bs. Some of his current classes are Honors classes. Next year he’ll be taking dual-enrollment classes as a Junior in HS, so that means most of his classes will be AP-level and also College-level. He has his Learner’s Permit and is learning to drive in an older Jeep Wrangler that he bought as his first car using money he saved since he was younger than in this video. Hope everyone watching is doing great!

I accept this blender is powerful, but it seems harder to extract all the butter out, compared to a regular, possibly cheaper, food processor.

Hello I’m not sure if you’ll see this or not but I thought it was worth a shot. I’m interested in buying a 16ss. I’m wondering though, how much should I expect to spend on it each year? Thanks in advance for any information.
@bstaneland2 жыл бұрын
Not sure what you mean by spending on it each year - in my mind the maintenance concern has more to do with the engine and not the hull. But as far as where you’re located, that will have a major impact too (winter storage maybe a concern, for example). But the old adage that boat stands for bring on another thousand exists for a reason lol Hope you buy a good one 👍

I plan to try your recipe in my Ninja Blender, at first my mom's former business partner was like "you can't make it in the Ninja with adding oil" I said, "I'm not going to be adding oil it will just be the peanuts" he didn't believe you could make peanut butter with just nuts and tried to just convince me to let him buy a big pail of peanut butter. He told me that it wouldn't work and that you HAD to add oil, and I explained what you said happened when you did the recipe with the oil! I bought the dry roasted unsalted peanuts from Walmart after work one day I bought 2 packages (it was after working my shift as a Front-End Cashier AT Walmart!) I look forward to trying it!

Awesome! Let us know how it turned out ♥️
@bstaneland2 жыл бұрын
Just want to add… storing your single ingredient PB in the fridge will yield the texture/consistency that you’re used to seeing from the “normal” PB. Otherwise it is very runny and it separates over time if left alone (easy fix just shaking it).
@KathrynHawkBond2 жыл бұрын
@@bstaneland well I started making it tonight and it literally to me had no real taste to it so I'm trying on adding just a little something to it
@bstaneland2 жыл бұрын
@@KathrynHawkBond i definitely tastes different than the multi-ingredient store bought stuff. But your taste buds will adapt :) Also, keeping your single-ingredient PB in the fridge will have the same consistency as the big name brand stuff.

Your son was really cool, ... a blessing, and of course, it went along with the caption. (He's funny, imo, and really added neatly to the video, to my perspective.) Also, I see that you already have him with 'polite manners', such as "No thank you", at the age of 3 !" Awesome! Some people barely use that even into their older age, and sometimes never, but, ... Saying as an affirmation, ... so far, so great. :-) Well, I was not sure if the blender was really going to be able to do it so well, but obviously, it did not break down, or overheat in the process. From what I've seen, most blenders, unless they are especially made with nut-butters in mind (there are a few, but) ... Most that I've seen do take time to perform that task, understandably, imo. Also, thanks for stating that it does not need any oil poured over it, in the process.

Just so you know, those peanuts are genetically modified and contain more than just peanuts. They don't have to list glyphosate on the ingredients. It causes the cancer and other reproductive harm. It would behoove you to buy organic peanuts if you want to go to the trouble of making it yourself. You can buy organic peanut butter which truly has only peanuts and nothing else, however, there is some oil separation on top of it. A whisk attached to a hand mixer solves that without a big mess. If you have a dog, he'd love to help you clean the beater too.
@bstaneland3 жыл бұрын
This is such a great comment, thank you. We’ve certainly educated ourselves since making this video and you are absolutely correct about the peanuts/ingredients and the dog part ❤️ After mixing the single ingredient PB, we keep it in the fridge - it stays at a consistency like the store bought stuff (no separation).

You said you don't know why anyone would add oil. I make peanut butter a lot, using locally sourced Thai peanuts [that's where I live]. They seem to require just a tablespoon per kilo to go from peanut gravel to peanut butter. I use peanut oil - so the peanuts don't suspect a thing. Sometimes I add a tablespoon of honey as well. It takes an edge off the peanuts and also binds the mix (for some reason) so the oil doesn't separate to the surface so readily.

hey man I hope you soak your peanuts overnight in sea salt and water to remove most of the aflatoxins after you rinse them off just roast them again yourself to get the water off yo since you're being healthy by making your own it's only right to remove the nasty toxins it blew my mind when I found out about aflatoxins. i'm about to order this blender RIGHT NOW! because I was a victim of scam recently I ordered a peanut butter machine off of a site called Dorathaya or something like that paypal refunded me si'm gonna order this blender with the refund your peanut butter came out creamy as hell they say you must add oil to achieve creamy peanut butter i'm following your example because I just saw it with my own 2 eyes.
