Your Welcome.. I Think you may inspired me to go out and buy a Ninja soon.. I have been Juicing all year.. but my Juicer broke and this thing looks like it may do the trick.
@benstaneland386311 жыл бұрын
***** Not sure if you will be happy with the results if you are used to a juicer. The Ninja seems to have an inherent problem in that stuff gets lodged in the corners of the pitcher as the blades spin. You'll end up with some stuff not as fine as the rest - hopefully this makes sense.

How would the oyster 1100 compare to the making nut butter in this Ninja ? Price aside Price is so close , i would pay the extra for the better machine to do this Does the oyster 1100 have more accessories etc? I have been really surprised at the versatility of the Ninja. Like you pointed out, it liquified the peanuts without issue. But I've learned with making smoothies in the Ninja that it takes longer than the V-style container blenders (I actually found it quicker to make my smoothies in that style of blender). The Ninja has to run longer to make sure it blends everything well, but will eventually do a great job. Hope this helps.

If you try different types of nuts which are not as soft as peanuts make sure you blend it for a long time it could take as much as 15 to 20 minutes for different types of nuts peanuts are the soft or not that's why they don't take as long happy peanut butter making...😀

Thanks. Good question. Our kitchen sink has a toggle switch like a shower head that allows us to switch from big slow stream to mini fast stream, so we use the fast stream with the water on the hottest setting (our water heater is set on the standard 125* setting). The hot water "melts" the peanut butter residue right off. We don't scrub it at all.

Pammela Newton exactly what I was thinking too, as it's to help it drip off the blade and be smooth, and no you don't add much, just about 1 shot (56ml) of it and it'll be smoother than a babies bottom
@cameroncooper41753 жыл бұрын
You said you don't know why anyone would add oil. I make peanut butter a lot, using locally sourced Thai peanuts [that's where I live]. They seem to require just a tablespoon per kilo to go from peanut gravel to peanut butter. I use peanut oil - so the peanuts don't suspect a thing. Sometimes I add a tablespoon of honey as well. It takes an edge off the peanuts and also binds the mix (for some reason) so the oil doesn't separate to the surface so readily.

Thanks for the reply. Just today I ordered that new Mega Ninja 1500 blender. Hopefully they have redesigned the pitchers that it comes with to fix that problem of things getting stuck in the corners. I've read that same complaint in other reviews, saying they had to stop and scrape that stuff off, then turn it back on. If they did redesign the pitcher, along with the extra power the new model has, will HOPEFULLY make things better. I just hope it's worth the $183.

Although we do eat it pretty quick, we decided to keep some in a container as a "test" and it looked the same after a couple months as when it was packed. And just to make sure we're on the same page, I assume you are referring to the natural oil found in the peanuts (since no oil was added to this "recipe").

Ahh, good question. It's actually quite easy... Our kitchen sink faucet has a power spray button and once the hot water gets hot (I have our hot water heater turned up to 140-degrees from the standard 125) I just spray the blender bucket and everything comes off. I think the key is to clean it ASAP so the stuff you blended doesn't harden. I've been cleaning it like that since new and have not had any issues.

Thanks! The "Kitchen System" & "Mega Kitchen System" both have a super slow speed that is intended to be used as a food processor and includes processor attachments. What is interesting is the slow speed (labeled "dough 1" on mine) seems to adjust itself depending on the amount of torque needed for the task. Last night I needed to mince some mushrooms; a couple seconds on dough 1 with a blade attachment and I had 1/4" mushroom chunks. We mix our dough with one of the paddle attachments.

Thank you for your kind words. That is great to hear about your green smoothie (& your weight loss of course). As I type this I am drinking a green smoothie made with spinach. Because of the offsetting flavor created by the fruits I add it tastes great - I would imagine you have the same experience :)

I would imagine that any time big companies can alter something's taste they are not likely looking for the healthiest options, but the most cost-effective. So you may be correct about the sugar getting added (since honey is more costly).

I add a little olive oil and honey to help it blend up a little quicker and sweeten it a bit. I have never had any negative effects from adding them. This is a great way to know what your family is eating!

Your son was really cool, ... a blessing, and of course, it went along with the caption. (He's funny, imo, and really added neatly to the video, to my perspective.) Also, I see that you already have him with 'polite manners', such as "No thank you", at the age of 3 !" Awesome! Some people barely use that even into their older age, and sometimes never, but, ... Saying as an affirmation, ... so far, so great. :-) Well, I was not sure if the blender was really going to be able to do it so well, but obviously, it did not break down, or overheat in the process. From what I've seen, most blenders, unless they are especially made with nut-butters in mind (there are a few, but) ... Most that I've seen do take time to perform that task, understandably, imo. Also, thanks for stating that it does not need any oil poured over it, in the process.
