Could you let me know where you get your beautiful molds and mandala molds from please? 🙏
@AHCClayCollectionsКүн бұрын
Hi I ordered it from Etsy few years back. Back when russian sellers were available on Etsy platform. That store was closed after the Ukranian war. Now a days, you can easily find various mandala texture sheets from Etsy and even Instagram pages.

I think I’m missing something, won’t this just turn into a bullseye cane? Any help would be appreciated 💜
@AHCClayCollectionsКүн бұрын
Yes it was bullseye cane. Later I cut that cane into several pieces and arranged all together to form a block before making a new slab.

Those are so cute! Would love to know how you got that background clay like that! Gorgeous!! 🤩🤩🤩
@AHCClayCollections4 ай бұрын
Thank you. I painted soft chalk pastels( dark blue + magenta + violet) on the black clay before the stars. But it was not necessary for the output. Because resin made that colorful background invisible. I expected a different outcome. Hence I didn't show the first part in the process.

So beautiful. When I roll out my clay it’s not 100% flat, especially if I use an open back bezel. Is this normal?
@AHCClayCollections4 ай бұрын
Thank you. Yes, sometimes it will happen. I usually place my flattened clay between parchment papers and burnish it all over, it helps in flattening it correctly. Then I will lay the clay on tile and cut it into shapes.

Beautiful! How much is the thickness before cutting into shapes? Do you use asta machine?
@AHCClayCollections6 ай бұрын
Yes I used pasta machine.. I usually roll the sheet into highest to medium thickness settings.I don't follow specific thickness. I like putting resin on thick pieces rather than thin pieces. So thickness should be anywhere from highest to medium thickness.

Beautiful! The acrylic paint seems unnecessary? The gold leaf will stick without it and the clay is white so I'm a little confused??
@AHCClayCollections6 ай бұрын
Thank you.Acrylic paint helps in formation of beautiful patterns in translucent clay. It was not added for gold leaf. We can use liquid clay or sculpey bake and bond also for that requirement. Because I added pearl ex pigment on top of the slab, pattern was not clearly visible after baking. But when any light source is behind, we can see the pattern.

I’ve never seen that needle technique. I liked it before flattering it. I think I will try it . Thank you.
@AHCClayCollections7 ай бұрын
Thank you! I'm glad you liked the needle technique. If you want to coat with resin it's better to flatten it out to avoid bubble formation. Otherwise, it's a nice textured effect. You can share the result through my Instagram page once you tried it if you like!
