Searched for Stella Lee gameplay. Didn't expect to see a whole game in just a few minutes, including the intro. I'm very pleased. If only the CEDH staples weren't so damn expensive. I'm building a somewhat budget version of this deck, but finding replacements is difficult. There's really no good mana rocks that are even close to as good as those.

how do you like the following cards and the thoughts of mine: silver fur master: I think if you wanna be competitive it is really mid... you shouldn't care about the buff and the cost reduction since most of the ninjutsu abilities are pretty cheap and Yuriko is always 2 mana (UB). Memnite/Phyrexian Walker: I think Ornithopter is still king due to its evasion but these 2 I don't know... I'd rather play the blue dragon as a second option you have on your list as well if you play in a group full of red mana symbols. Vendilion clique: interesting choice as it can stop someone from going off with combo lines, works well with ninjas K-9: evasion is too expensive on him IMO, I'd rather add 1 Faerie Dreamthief (+1 another faerie besides Vendilion Clique) my considerations: +1 Spellstutter Sprite for K-9 (you have 6 faeries at this point if you consider 1 faerie dream thief) I hope we see more of these faerie enablers in lorwyn 🤞🏻 Cyclonic Rift: did this really come up in plenty of your games? I can't imagine that the game goes that long, that you need to Rift at some point, by turn 7 or 8 you should have dealt a ton of damage by Yuriko's ability How is your maybe-board looking like for Yuriko?

How did bowmasters not kill here? Like shouldn’t each draw put a trigger on the top of the stack layering them to where you basically have to win before the draws kill you? Like im saying if you cast 50 spells that say draw 1 then when you draw a card the bowmasters trigger goes to the top of the stack and resolves before you draw the next card right? Am i missing something?

Refocus copy resolves, untapping Stella Lee and Drawing a card. This causes Bowmasters to trigger, and in response to the trigger, Stella copies refocus again. Repeat. Because of the Borne Upon the Wind, Stella goes off and wins before any of the remaining bowmasters triggers resolve.

It's dumb that they didn't ban sol ring too, but I guess it would make every previous precon illegal out of the box which Wizards probably doesn't want to do as precons are ways to get new players in and adding "oh yeah but you gotta get a card to replace one of the cards in there" isn't great.

How are you using Volatile Stormdrake? I think it's interesting, but not sure of the process with it.

Stormdrake is great and I have it in my current list. We are seeing a lot of creature centric cEDH decks now that are using creatures for combos. Being able to take someone’s Kinnan, Thrasios, Nadu, Magda, and many other 4 cmc or less commanders and being able to hold on to them is great. Worst cast you can take a higher CMC and just sac it. It is important to really only use this on a player that currently has a lot of flyers. We don’t want to give a flyer to the only player WITHOUT any due to us having a lot of flying creatures ourselves.

He's playing the Freed/Pemmin's version in this video for the infinite mana combo with Sanctum Weaver. One toughness mana dorks are in a rough spot with bowmasters in the meta, so he was trying a different approach

@@AmateurHourMTG makes sense. Pemmins/freed is just too slow a lot of the time but Kinnan definitely gets clapped by bowmaster

I do not understand why meteor swarm don't cost 4 manas. If you don't pay 1 for the X you cannot target a creature, don't you ?

@AmateurHourMTG opening up storm with green tutors can speed up mana, combo, and even hate if need be. Green is such a powerful color, and the brews I've seen are epic.

I run a CEDH Magar deck and sadly relentless assault does not work with Magar, it specifically states main phase and the minutes it’s cast it won’t trigger the main phase extra combat phase, it will allow you to untap all your creatures but that’s it. Savage beating is much better or add in a Aggravated assault with a brass bounty or a seething song. Magar is a tricky deck and I love to see people run him because of how confusing he is with most spells in Rakdos colors but I appreciate seeing him more and more everyday when I see him pop up in my recommended videos. Btw love the video y’all, great plays all around.

Pili-Pala produces 1 mana when you activate its untap ability, and mox opal produces one mana when tapped. It's mana neutral in the loop, but it allows you to loot through the library

Talion is a control deck with more instants/sorceries than anything else, so the value of being able to copy any number of a host of spells on top of the value from the impulse draw off of her 2nd trigger was far more valuable for me at the time. Don't much care about bowmasters - I can win quite easily regardless of it. More importantly is that Stella needs to either never stick on the battlefield or stay out of the control of her owner. Additionally, Stella can win over the top of a bowmasters with a single blue mana in the case of cards like Borne Upon a Wind or Quicken. Also counterspells exist for the bowmasters if I *really* thought it was a problem.

I run a lot of colorless pip cards in my list. Having vault helps me cast Nanogene, Talion, Roaming Throne, spark double, Sakashima, and many others. I'd like to take a look at your list if you have it available. Thank you!

I'm newer so sorry if totally wrong but when Stella untapped with shore up. Could you not have tapped her again targeting the earlier crimson wisps and then just hit that line of drawing out full deck again? Or was that stopped with the bow masters on the board. Not sure what the wincon for the Stella deck is once she's drew the deck if possible to win before the bowmasters resolve.

Crimson wisp doesn't untap stella so you can't draw your deck with it
