Only missing by 1 point shows that you're not dumb! If you had scored 1 point differently, you wouldn't think that, so one question shouldn't tell you whether you're smart or not. Keep grinding and broaden your focus to other questions you saw, too, and you've got it next time 💯💯

Dude?? u gotta get your measurements right. 88 feet DOES NOT equal 2.2 inches. Get real bruh
@GetSumMath4 күн бұрын
Hey there, for this one they are using a blueprint scaled differently, where 0.5 inches = 20 feet. So only by using that same scale does the 2.2 inches equal to 88 feet using that scale system. But another way to think of it is, if: 0.5 inches = 20 feet like they give us, 1 inch = 40 feet then 2 inch = 80 feet but we still need a little bit more and A (2.2 inches) is the only answer that's close to that to get to 88 feet. Hope that helps 🙏🏼

Info for other students Circumference: The circumference is the distance around the edge of a circle. It’s like the perimeter for circular objects. Perimeter: The perimeter is the total distance around a shape, like a square, rectangle, or triangle. Difference: • Circumference is only used for circles. • Perimeter is used for any other shape (like squares, triangles, etc.). Real-life example: • Circumference: Think of the wheel of a bike. The circumference is the distance around the edge of the wheel. • Perimeter: Think of the fence around your backyard. The perimeter is the total length of the fence that goes around the yard. In short: • Circumference = Circle’s edge • Perimeter = Edge of any other shape

What in the question would change that we would also count the 4 And 3 At 1:04

We would only use the straight up and down (dotted lines) for the area, since those are the heights. But, since they are on the inside, you won't use them for the perimeter ever

Why is the negative place difference here 7:15 -3 _3 Why different on calculater
@GetSumMath4 күн бұрын
Great question ☝🏼 The bigger one is a subtraction, so you’ll put that between two numbers. But, the smaller one (white button on the bottom of the calculator) is a negative if the value starts negative or you put a negative value in parentheses, you’ll want to use that one. Example: 8 - 7 Use the subtraction -2 + 5 Use the negative since it starts with a negative (-5)^2 Use the negative since it’s in parentheses Let me know if that helps!

Many students find that the website readtheory.org is very helpful for strengthening their reading comprehension! They have free practice and questions that provide a way to increase your understanding and skills. I also would recommend on the RLA test to skip to the passages that are nonfiction first! I think that these questions are much easier to answer than the fiction passages. A student just the other day said this technique was extremely helpful for them, and they passed. Keep working - you'll get it!!

13:37 Why you put 1050 at top how did you deduce that
@GetSumMath5 күн бұрын
Good question - eventually we want to get mol/L for molarity. So we want moles up top. Since 1 mole is 36.5 grams, and 1 L is 1050 grams, we can do: 1 mol / 36.5 grams • 1050 grams / 1 L which allows the grams in the bottom of the 1st fraction and top of the 2nd fraction cancel, leaving us with mol up top and L in the bottom, or 28.76 mol/L. Let me know if that helps!

@VocalsOfTheReturningOne5 күн бұрын
14:14 how does one deduce that We multiply here not divide
@GetSumMath5 күн бұрын
It's confusing since we do both. We do divide to get the molarity (mol/L) which means moles divided by liters. But, since only 8.5% of the 1050 g mass is HCl, then we multiply by 8.5% to get it down to just the HCl part. I wouldn't worry too much about this one since it's super tricky!

@GetSumMath5 күн бұрын
Since they're asking for the molarity and tell us the units are (mol/L), the / means we'll take the number of moles, 0.4, and divide by the number of liters, 8. So: mol/L = 0.4 / 8 = 0.4 ÷ 8 = 0.05 Hope that helps

The number of "units" that each answer discusses is the number in front of each term in the equation. B is correct because it says "One unit of oxygen" which is O₂ or 1O₂ which means 1 unit oxygen. Then, it also has "two units of sodium oxide" which is 2Na₂O. Since that has a 2 in front, that represents 2 units of sodium oxide. Hope that helps
