Almost 6 months later, has any of this changed? I just bought my first AR pistol off palmettos website and it’s got the brace and all still. I’m researching all of this and this was the most helpful video. Thanks man

@@DBSSEAN Thank you for the comment, I’m glad you found the video helpful. To answer your question, as of right now. No nothing has changed on it. I might also add, I don’t see a change coming anytime soon. The ATF puts these “laws” in place, just to suppress our rights. I’m sure you were thinking from my video that these “rules/laws” make like 0 to little sense. That’s why I say the ATF is pointless. None of it makes any sense, so that’s why you’ll see a lot of content creators complaining about the ATF. Thank you again for the comment.

Painting destroys the value. If you do it to your GTWR, fine, but to all of them is silly. If you really find WROL then paint it in two minutes. Chances are one in a million you will need it other than range day. Focus on your fitness and assets.

I run both an LPVO and a red dot piggy back at the 12 o'clock. I opted for an LPVO for the necessary magnification ranges I need and a red dot because nothing outperforms a red dot for distances under 75 meters and close-quarters combat. I discarded the magnifier due to the need to take my hand off the rifle to engage or disengage it, and the occasional snagging issues. While the Unity mount resolves the snagging problem, it doubles the cost, as it requires both a magnifier mount and a higher mount for the red dot, resulting in additional expenses. My solution = LPVO with red dot on 12 o'clock piggy back. What works for me may not work for or be a preference for others. That's just what I did and an explanation as to why.

The worst sin here is the stainless barrel on a non precision build. Stainless will be absolutely smoked 10x or more faster than a good nitrided 4150 barrel, stainless has accuracy advantages but really deals very poorly with heat and has a fraction of the lifespan of 4150 even if you never get it hot.

@@MontanaTonyy Stainless barrels cost more too. Why would you pay more for a barrel in a non accuracy focused build that's going to go bad faster? Stainless also has issues with stringing when heated up far worse than 4150 barrels. A stainless barrel in a regular AR is usually a sign of people not knowing what they're doing.

Why would you clean it out like that? I have a smoker 300 gallon. Normalize oak Hickory, maples. It depends what kind of logs? I'm putting in for what cooking. I never clean mine only the grapes. The smoke will give the meat a better flavor and taste the longest. You keep that in there and also seals up any cracks that you might have. I do many competition cooks brisket. Pull pore, whole pigs alligators. You name it, I only clean out my great. Anti shovel out my firebox that's all that I clean. Nothing else big tip for you to learn

Once my grill is at 225 I’ll put the tri-tip on & potatoes at the same time. Then once I pull my tri-tip off to rest. I crank the grill up to 450. Never taking the potatoes out or even checking on them. Once my grill is at 450 tri-tip goes back on. Once my tri-tip is done, I’ll leave the potatoes on for another 5-10 minutes then pull them.

I'm trying to decide between the 22 and the 575. I've watched tons of vids over the last day or two. That said, the next time you do steak (doesn't matter whether it's strip, ribeye, porterhouse or whatever), do not EVER put a cold steak on a grill. Let them sit and get room temp. I usually pull my steaks and set them on the counter around noon. They will NOT go bad. Then cook them. You can thank me now or later....😎 Decent vid.👍🏻

I've got a Titanium HM3XT on one of my Rifles and the HM3X on 2 others and the Aluminum tube is a bit longer and helps with the eye relief. So if rail space is an issue go with the T. If not, then I recommend the Aluminum tube.
