Do some dumbell or barbell rows.if you don't want to lower your poundage then your shoulder will be damaged. Good shooting. We all gotta start somewhere. You will get better.

@tacticalcivilian708 you are more than welcome. You will get better the more you shoot.like I said dumbell rows will build up your back muscles which you use to ull your bow back.im 57 and I shoot 82 pounds.ive protected my shoulders by correct form.keep doing what your doing and you will see results. Pull back at eye level with your Lats and you'll get stronger. Feel free to ask me anything.

If you don’t wanna lower your weight go do some lawnmower weight reps. Atleast everyday for a week. Or 2 and you’d be able to keep that weight up. When I first started archery my dad got tired of having to lower and increase my weight. There’s a difference between being able to pull back 70lbs 10 times a day and 200 times a day. And doing 3D tournaments is a lot of shooting in a day. So during the week at school hit the gym in the mornings and after school before the sports kids get in and pretty much worked my back and shoulders and arms. And the next weekend I was shooting 70lbs for the full 3 day tournament.
