Wonderfully done. In my naivete' I thought it was about man asking a girl to dance. IT'S ABOUT A TREE. a special tree. What is so great is that the band is HAVING FUN. I can not help but smile from ear to ear by witnessing this. It is infectious SYNERGY between the band members, and the audience. Julio does great to help spread the joy. El mejor ska que ha entrado a mi cerebro. Cada vez que escucho esta interpretación, el trompetista me hace llorar, en la parte central tiene una charla magistralmente conducida con el sax.

I enjoyed the performance and the soloists. It is a bit slower than we played it with Stan and also than we do it with the Stan Kenton Legacy Orchestra, but it seems to work fine for this band.

I see you just love putting down bands, Garen. There was a drum solo in between those last chords for at least the last ten years that the Kenton Orchestra was on the road. And the solo is not lame!!
