Superbă explicația!!! 😱🤩 Abia aștept să exersez mișcările ca să văd ce iese. 🤩

At tip 5 can you please explain to me why ladies do the exact opposite and try to arch their back as much as possible?
@MariusElenaBachata15 сағат бұрын
Because... social media. It's not healthy nor necessarily to arch it like that. But... people without proper dance training (anatomy, technique, etc...) just do it because it looks better. Also, there are some persons that have a forward tilt, which is a "defect" and they have the lower back over-arched, but that's again... not healthy.

Just came back to say thank you Marius for being such an inspiration for me since I started 2 years ago. This video in particular was a reminder that a dance can actually be more enjoyable when slowed. It's surprisingly difficult to retain that knowledge without reminders like this. Tonight I had 3 beautiful and experienced follows compliment me after the dance because I was more focused on slowing down which allowed me to really feel all the different instruments in the music and more precise lead for my partner. Thank you sensei 🙏🏽

😇🥰😭 Last emoji is tears of happiness :D I am happy that what we teach actually makes dancers life better. In a world where everybody is focused on doing the wow stuff, there are to few dancers focusing on how it actually feels :D Thank you for the appreciation, for the comment, and for your story. Keep on practicing and rocking the dance flooor.

There have been changes in your training style; instead of movement animation, more technical training and videos to show the essence of movement have become more useful..Thanks☺️

i thought the sensual and the 8 are the same?
@MariusElenaBachata2 күн бұрын
Nope. Definitely not. There are even more ways of moving the hips, but the "sensual" is when you push straight as you touch the floor. The 8 is different. ALso for the dominican there are more variations, but I was trying to keep it as simple as possible.

I'm so tired of looking like a frickn duck when I dance. 😅 My pelvic tilt is crazy. Can you make a longer video for this? Seem like a common problem for many followers! Like in close position, I'm ducking like crazy. 🦆😁 Not pretty, and my lower back gets completely... fucked! 😄 Love you guys!! ❤️💕 Thank you.
@MariusElenaBachata2 күн бұрын
Definitely will do a video. Until then, what I can recommend are exercises. Usually any tilt is because of an area being tensed and one being to relaxed. In general, to fix that you need to do exercises for the opposite side. So, to tense the relaxed part, and relax the tensed part. This isn't medical advice, and a kinetotherapist will greatly help you more. :D

I don't know if it's the music but you look so ALIVE on this video. So much energy. I envy people who been there in person.😊 I'm getting tired of this whole super-seductive-totally-not-made-up-sexy mood on the dance floor lately. Is it just me or bachata is loosing this crazy-energetic part it got from salsa bit by bit? You guys are a breath of fresh air. Fun is radiating from you both Thank you 😁 P.S.: Also loved those lovely slaps of Elena's pony tail 🤭
