The iPad mini is the most underrated & overlooked apple product imo . Uses most the apps as larger iPads tmk, uses apple pencil, blue tooth keyboards etc, it's so portable great for travel & I can hold in one hand like a large phone (& I don't desire a large phone either lol) Also there's a ton of applications, potentially replacing your kindle or larger iPad, esp the newer iPad mini’s feel like a iPad pro to me♡

idk why I cant transfer my books either. I've got all the latest versions of everything and it still says that its' DRE locked. I think it's because I traded my old kindle for the new matcha basic? Idk, i can't make sense of what's missing lol other than that, I am loving it so much! Waiting on my case that gets here tomorrow. I feel like it can scratch easier than my kindle basic or its just me because I see it as this precious littol thing lol

If you keep clicking the screen when writing you could try a digital artist glove. They are made for that exact reason and they are pretty cheap

The Libra Colour ereader is excellent, I had one in the shopping cart, but at the last moment it occurred to me to verify whether or not the e-ink notes/annotations were preserved. Turns out, no they are not, they are subject to permanent deletion. Per Kobo's help page on annotations, they make it clear. All handwritten stylus notes/annotations taken are *lost* if you ever switch devices (even to another Kobo) or reset this device. For me, the notes I take are important to me and I don't want to lose them. And who wants to export their notes as lots and lots of PDFs disassociated from the books? Not me. So, for me, in the end, Kobo Libra Colour is no-go until they've figured out how to be able to transfer your book notes (handwritten) between devices. Agh!
