Oh my gosh i don’t even have words to describe the utter cuteness of these critters! Her artwork, your coloring and background artwork - chef’s kiss (& the chef giving the kiss would have to be equally cute)!🥰

Wow- from the intro to the outro music and all the lovely coloring, layering & instructions in-between this is a beautiful, classy card! Love, love, love! Yes it sounds very different from my middle school (only it was jr high in our town) dances. Nothing in elementary school. Even though im probably close to a couple decades older than you, mine were much more similar to yours. Perhaps calling them socials now is more appropriate since there are games, food & dancing, not just dancing. I hope that it can still be ok for kids to just ask out other kids to dances and it not always have to be a huge thing. Yes those big productions are kind of cool, but that seems like an awful lot of pressure and expense that not everyone can afford. And as you mentioned, might make some kids feel disappointed is they didn’t get asked in some grand fashion. Idk, maybe that just is me sounding like a grumpy old woman lol.

Ah yes. It’s so true about the dichotomy of what we want the holidays to be (what often they have been in the past) and the sadness & loss that builds as time marches on and is often felt more deeply during the holidays. The last handful of years have been brutal (as much as i try to keep a brave face - for myself & others, brutal is an honest word). I’m at an age in life where I know it’s not going to trend well in that regard. It’s trying to be grateful for every moment we have while living in & pushing through the reality of really, really hard things. So taking in the little joys, like watching virtual friends create beautiful things right before my eyes is something I am grateful for! At the same time, it makes me feel less alone when those same virtual friends share glimpses of their reality, that isn’t always wrapped up in a pretty card - and i guess that’s what allows me to think of them as friends. For in that comes the human connection. It’s all very complicated isn’t it?

I’ll comment again later after i finish the video - but want to tell u right now that u r not lazy (u said the reason u don’t always get ur stencils cleaned off right away is bcs u r lazy). U r the opposite of lazy! U r a hardworking mother, wife, sister, daughter, self-employed woman! Stained stencils - way down on the priority list.

Bright colors with black- always a happy place for me! Then u add rainbows & clouds - even more fun! Yes very Lisa Frank vibes. My daughter is a child of the 90s and she got a lot of Lisa Frank stuff as gifts, school supplies etc. Found out recently she didn’t like them nearly as much as i did. Oops Mom! She looks back on them fondly now though (or she’s still trying to make me not feel bad lol).

Very fun cards Kelly! As others have said - your amazing coloring and scene cards are so distinctive that i know as soon as i see the thumbnail they r your mini masterpieces! I’m very behind in watching all my favorite KZbin peeps- but saving them until after Christmas gives me something to look forward to. I do football a bit, some years more than others, but i always love to play card & some board games! Usually the week between Christmas & New Years we have a couple opportunities to play games with the family (my sibs and nephews & nieces- our parents have passed) and i love it! Right now, I’m stuck home with a stupid, wicked stomach bug, so I’ll enjoy vicariously through your game-playing tales! So thanks for not only sharing your creative talents, but your family life too!

Love watching you color….my biggest challenge is figuring out where the shading goes. Often times I shade different sides - I think it’s just practice. LOVE It

Girl, 1st of all, the Christmas season goes until Jan 6th (feast of the Epiphany/three kings day) and that is when a LOT of Christians actually celebrate Christmas...and since the spirit of Christmas is supposed to last all year long, you are NOT late! This is my motto for when I don't get my Christmas cards out in the mail until mid February or sometimes March! Haha!

Hi Kelly, Happy New Year to you and your family. My Dad had a red truck that looked just like this, so this die holds a special memory for me. I am with you on Christmas music, too. I love listening to Johnny Mathis’ Christmas music, and I do love Josh Grobin.

The cards are lovely, Kelly, and inspiring for next year’s Christmas planning! Thanks for sharing your holiday traditions of music, not until after Thanksgiving at our house if you ask me. A lively discussion about traditional music, which wins, vs mall Mariah era and beyond music always comes up. Merry Christmas to you and yours and thank you for sharing your talents with us throughout the year!❤

The truck is super cute and your coloring just makes it fabulous! I think it’s great that you’re sharing these cards - there has been a lot of cards but I always learn something and it gives me lots of great ideas. The barn is beyond adorable…..again your shading just MAKES it!!! Love the animals but so many fussy bits - I struggle with that part of dies. Love the process and just watching you create!

I don't mind watching Christmas cards videos after Christmas, so keep them coming. A lot of designers now switch to Valentine/love cards and I usually don't watch those.

Behind on watching your videos. These are absolutely stunning!!! I have your sets on my "to buy" list once my spending freeze is lifted in the new year! Our home is under construction so no craft room and all my things are boxed up until March and not sure which ones I already have!🙃 Congratulations to Eric, as well as to you & kiddos, on his promotions and personal goals achieved! Hope 2025 brings even more blessings to you and your family and I look forward to all your upcoming creations!

Is the cow an ox? I'm apologise if i seem ignorant, as I'm not a religious person but I'm sure as a child we sang a song about oxen and the little lord jesus asleep in the hay. Or was it cattle?

I love seeing Christmas cards all year round. I challenge myself to make 5 a month so that by the time that December 1st comes around, I've got enough. Keep sharing. As far as Mariah, I'm with you. She does not represent Christmas Music in my book. Ok, now the cards...these are amazing. I love that Truck. So cute.
