I made a fun card for BIL that was a cocktail glass with wings &the sentiment was "Red bull gives you wings" b/c he is a red bull & vodka drinker. I think it came out cute thanks to your coloring tutorials! We have cats (10 😳) currently. I recently lost my dog 😭😭😭. But, I have come to the conclusion that I am an animal person! I love them all! There is a deer that visits our neighborhood with a bad leg & I want to catch him & help him!! My husband is actually the "crazy cat lady" but I love all of our rescue cats!!❤❤

We always used tinsel on our Christmas tree too. My Mom would not allow us to throw it on the tree, it had to be placed meticulously strand, by strand. It would take us all day just to put the stencil on the tree. In those days I believe the stencil was made of lead, today it is made of paper thin paper, and it does not look the same. I too have been a fan of Hero Arts since their beginning. I have also been a fan of yours since you began being on KZbin! Love you both!

Back in 2019, shortly after I’d started cardmaking again but still had very few supplies, I had to be creative. I was also having huge difficulties that I later realised was because the stamps I’d bought were acrylic and the ink was distress ink, not a good combo. So I bought some cheap markers and made do. And, in the lead up to Christmas in 2019, I made 2 cards that implied that a dog had demolished Christmas, leaving a mess behind. Looking back now, I’m quite proud of what I managed despite setbacks. I think I would have given up if I hadn’t discovered your channel back then though, you taught me so much and I have enjoyed your storytimes too, during years that have been hard and lonely.

1. I'm glad we're not losing Hero Arts. I've been a stamper for well over 40 years and have lots of HA products. 2. I once made a card with a fishbowl, but I put a cat inside and fish on the outside. 🐟 3. When I was growing up, we had every pet imaginable (and a few unimaginable 🦎🐍). When I moved out on my own, I always had lots of cats, so eventually I gave up on having a Christmas tree due to all the ornery critters. 😻😼

As long as the animal has fur and not scales and crawls I’m good. We have three indoor rescue cats one outside cat that claimed us, and currently just one rescue dog. I want another one but my hubby says no.

My mom is a tinsel person too, she would stand for hours putting tinsel on. Then she would save it from year to year. I think she still had tinsel from when I was a kid and I am 59!
