Respectfully Author of the reel, the WWF did let it be seen on TV. I thought because of the lawsuit WCW filed against the WWF, they had Ric borough one of the tag straps since he was calling himself the Real World Champion. However the camera didn’t show it close enough for me to tell that tag team wasn’t on the one Ric was wearing. So your reel was enlightening. I never understood how WCW got an injunction for Ric wearing the WCW Belt on WWF programs. They owed Ric a $25,000 deposit that he had to post on the belt. Made no sense!!! I’ve always thought that the big gold belt was just a copy of the AWA World Belt except Gold instead of mainly silver plating!!!

This isn't a belt that he actually won. He came into the WWF carrying the NWA/WCW Big Gold championship belt. When WCW sued WWF for displaying the belt on TV, the WWF had to quit using the Big Gold and come up with a substitute belt for Flair to use as part of his "Real world champion" gimmick. This is the belt that they used until he won the WWF title at the Royal Rumble in 1992.

My overall experience with JSbelt has been really good. You have to work with the language barrier and time difference when communicating , but overall no complaints. There are some things I could nit-pick, but I have to realize I'm not ordering from a premier maker.

That's the consequence of using an overseas maker. They typically don't get everything 100%. But, for what this belt is, it is pretty badass!
