I am most familiar with Tom Cochrane's version of this song than Rascal Flatts. The guys did a great cover of this song on the "Sing Off". They later released a studio version of this when Chance was with them showing them touring & the behind the scenes at shows. And now they have just released this 3rd version of this song. The guys all sounded great as usual & enjoy their sense of humor. Love Tim's low bass growl. And Adam Rupp once again stole the show with all his cool sounds. He really has an unreal range.

It's funny for you to wear a Santa hat and not doing a Christmas song. It's fine, though, as it's a nice change from all the christmas reactions I've seen lately. "This Guy" you forgot the name of, the bass guy, his name is Tim Foust. I always think it's better to be a master of selected things than being subpar at everything. And overcomplex isn't ususally good, either. This is such a fun and funny video, especially towards the end. They ended up using a leaf blower at the end, though poor Chance got a Migraine from it. Yes it’s lip dubbed. And sometimes they film the music video close to when the record the song, before they’ve performed it, or even really learned it. I think generally, Adam must have the hardest job trying to match what he does in filming the video with what ended up on the audio track. Even on this song, that they’ve sung for years. Per the BTS, this one was hard for them all because they couldn’t hear the playback over the sound of the leaf blower, even though the volume was ‘aggressive’. Happy Christmas.

Adam Rupp reminds me so much of Triple H (WWF) - the hair, the general jackedness 💪 in this video😂. Also those beatboxing facial muscles are strong his face hardly moved in the wind 😂 Love that he grows his hair out and cuts it for donation for cancer/alopecia wigs. In this opportunity, he's singing in japanese, but he did in chinese too, both times with the same perfection.

Funny thing is that the anime video was made by an Indian group but there are more Japanese anime references in it than you could ever think of.
