Thank you for showing us the wonderful trip to your hometown. I appreciate this video very much, there’s too many polarization and politics these days and it was just nice to see someone who shows off and appreciates both his hometown and his “second” home. it’s such a great video and lots of low key positive vibes, ❤ love your choice of music for your vid too!

ARE YOU SERIOUS? COMPARING THE UK RAILWAYS WITH CHINA'S? AREN'T YOU COMPARING APPLES AND MOON ROCKS? YOU CAN'T COMPARE SPEED, COMFORT AND TICKET COST, NOT TO MENTION TECHNOLOGY, PUNCTUALITY, CLEANLINESS AND SAFETY BETWEEN THE TWO. GOOD OL' BLIGHTY HAS SOME OF THE WORST NETWORKS AND MOST EXPENSIVE TRAINS IN EUROPE WHEREAS CHINA IS A WORLD LEADER IN HIGH SPEED RAILWAY TRANSPORT. JUST COMPARE THE NUMBER OF KMS OF HIGH SPEED LINES IN BOTH COUNTRIES. THE UK HAS ONLY ONE LINE, THE HS1, WHICH GOES FROM LONDON TO THE EUROTUNNEL AND IS JUST OVER 100KM LONG. WORK ON HS2 WAS STARTED IN 2017 AND HAS NO SIGN OF BEING COMPLETED BEFORE 2033 WHILE ITS COST HAS ALREADY BALLOONED FROM £32BN TO OVER £106BN (OR $137BN) AND HAS NO SIGN OF ABATING. CHINA'S HIGH SPEED RAILWAY NETWORK IS THE LARGEST IN THE WORLD WITH 45,000 KM AND GROWING.

Yeah haha it does look like it’s built for spaceships ! There was a big terrorist attack many years ago in China. I personally feel much safer having the quick security check with an X ray machine for bags at train stations. It doesn’t feel like too much and yeah, it gives more people a job too. I think without it Chinese people would bring all sorts of unusual items onto public transport 😁

@@middlekingdomproductions Nope, from 2:49 to 2:53 of this exact video, two white books on the right say "Жизнеопнсание Михаила Булгакова" (Life-description of Mihail Bulgakov) with an aliexpress-style mistake. Why does China love red so much. Red banners and signs and decor everywhere. Just zero sense of aesthetics. My least favorite color.
@middlekingdomproductions
@middlekingdomproductions 17 күн бұрын
Red has a deep cultural significance in China, symbolizing good fortune, joy, and prosperity. This affinity for red dates back thousands of years and is rooted in ancient beliefs and traditions. In Chinese culture, red is often associated with positive meanings such as happiness, success, and vitality. It’s widely used during celebrations like the Lunar New Year, weddings, and festivals to bring luck and ward off evil spirits. Red’s symbolism is also tied to important historical and political contexts, as it became associated with the Chinese Communist Party and revolutionary movements in the 20th century. Today, it remains a color that represents unity and national pride.
