I bought into this but found out the 45mm tires in real world are actually 42mm at best. Not sure about the 40mm tires but hey maybe we just round up and no-one will check Zipp on their advertised stats. The real problem is putting a 45mm Goodyear XPLR tire on only to realize your Schwalbe G-one rs 40mm tire was already 43mm wide when mounted to these new Zipp wheels. How do I navigate all these different tire sizes without buying each one and actually measuring it?

Hookless is just better for the Rim Manufacturer because its less work steps to build a Rim. In theory.. the perfect hookless Rim withe a perfect fitting Tire on it , tubless , with the right Tire pressure.. with a Rider on it that got the specific weight for this Setup .. should be a DREAM to Ride 😍 In reality.. there's a small chance to geht the perfect Rim and Tire Combo alone 😂 I don't wanna start with the average Dude , thats NOT a 20j.o. athlete and weigh definitely more than he should for his 15.000$ Bike .. and for that fact he doesn't come close to the "in theory" perfect Tire pressure for that Rim ... Lets Face it ... Hookless is for really active Athletes and experienced Mechanics.. For the Rest of all Mortals .. its fucking SHIT 🤷🏻‍♂️

If these bars are focused on speed for gravel, then why is the narrowest bar width a 40cm? If Zipp is courting those of us who race gravel for speed where technical terrain is not as much of a consideration then please offer your gravel bars in a 36cm and 38cm.
