We have internal width on rims 30mm and outside 38mm and I have to confirm that it work great on gravel. I'm looking forward to trying the new Zipp too.

5W savings at 45KPH (28MPH)? Great for every Elite Pro, too bad the average rider will never be able to take advantage of that "savings". Oh, and Unbound, your testing protocol race, averaged about 35KPH (22MPH) by the 2024 winner, which results in approximately a 3W savings. Save your money people, bend your elbows while riding and save those watts, and dollars, for free. Heck, chain waxing will gain more watts and you can buy A LOT of chain wax for the price of these new wheels.

Those quoted watt savings are strictly from an aerodynamic perspective. The low pressures achievable due to the 32mm internal width of the 303 XPLR rim allow for additional watt savings at both higher and lower speeds, as well as reduced fatigue and increased control as the result of a better rim to tire interface. Yes, there are more than one way to save watts. The 303 XPLR offers a few 🫡

OP, if a serious gravel rider is going to buy a new wheelset - this is a *MUCH* better alternative compared to using a road oriented aero wheelset. I just had a custom Chris King gravel wheelset built this Spring - 25mm ID and 50mm deep and it weighs 1550 grams. Wider is better when it comes to gravel wheels and tires, and I regret not knowing that Zipp had this in the pipeline.
