I found the salt pans years ago when our kids were young. We lost our footwear and were absolutely covered in stinking mud! Great excuse to swim though 😊

Lovely relaxing and informative video Ellis. I'm in Fethiye and didnt know about the salt pans. Such a peaceful environment. I must walk over to Candir side as well one day. Enjoy the last chapter before you move.

Thanks. Not going anywhere yet. Have to sell my house first and the market is very slow at the moment. With candir being a place for the few that want to be remote it could be a while.

They turned all the rules back. But, we still try to leave. I never want to go through something like that again. But I have to sell my house to be able to do that. And that's not easy at the moment. Our visa runs out in march.

@AtHomeInTurkey12 күн бұрын

Duh! I should also have guessed. I only just realised, with the Turkish word "tuzu" meaning salt. I never put the two together. Thanks for your informative video
