I always google the places you visit - lovely town - then I see how long it would take for me to get there 2 days and 16 hours! So I enjoy your vlog instead. Thank you for sharing from Australia.

Famous for it's annual Herb Festival in April. I stayed there for 2/3 days some years ago amongst those cobbled streets. It was amazing! It was seriously crowded and seriously expensive but with a wonderful atmosphere. It was buzzing but alas not one I would repeat.

Never heard of that Herb Festival. I will write it down. Thanks!

You did say that Alaçatı is one of the most traditional towns in Turkey, it is famed for its former Greek village; It is Not; because after 1500 years there was nothing Greek about it!. Whole Greece was for a long time other the rule of Ottomans, Greece independence from Ottomans, did take long time we can say that the Greeks have traditional Turkish villages in Greece. Ottomans did rule for over 1500 years. The fall of Constantinople was the capture of the capital of the Byzantine Empire by the Ottoman Empire. The city was captured on 29 May 1453 and did become Istanbul. Mustafa Kemal Ataturk ( 1915-1923 ) was the founder of the Republic of Turkije. And then with Ataturk we did become MODERN more European we told. We did live for centuries with Armenians , Greeks and many other Ethnic peoples it was never the problem, onder the rule of the Ottomans. Now with the AtaTurk's Republic we are racist, intolerant, we are exactly like Europe, it is so sad, it makes me so sad. I love your videos they are beautiful ❤ Dank je wel!

Thank you too. I am sad to say that we will leave Turkey. Video update on that soon

Ataturk didn’t make Turkiye racist, Erdogans policies did!! By the way, it’s happening all over Europe as we speak!

@@AMOSS1970 I wil say check your self what you believe and where you stand for, who you are, in AtaTurk's Republic you are so proud that you did send all the Greeks and to Greece and did kill the rest, than you defend AtaTurk, make up your mind, don't pont finger to that or other.
