Why does nobody understand that water resistance tests are static. You don't have to be 100 m down to feel the force that would be applied by the water at that depth. When these tests are performed, they're done with zero movement. If you're standing at edge of a body of water and threw your watch into the water it would experience forces greater than a single atmosphere even though you're at the surface

Funnily enough, AMZWATCH's replicas are perfect for people who can actually afford a luxury watch. Because in those social circles, it wouldn't matter and everybody would just assume it's real. You have a yacht and a beach house in Tuscany, of course that replica is real. There isn't a millionaire out there going around with a jeweller's loupe to scrutinize their acquaintance's watch. They'll just go "Oh is that a Patek? Nice, I should really get my hands on one of those, they look great."

If 0% of the buyers will use the divers extension then why you care to have a proper diving watch? Every single diver that I ever encountered that uses a seiko diver DOES uses the extension for the wet suit. That cheap extension is a must for a wet suit. Great rest of the review. Everything else is spot on.

good review and watch! i have the spb143 and very happy with it, i like that the dimensions are a little bigger than this one, couldn't go any smaller. Also would recommend to push some of the pins to the middle of the bracelet, some are poking out

I have a real SUB but I also bought one of these replicas from AMZWATCH for piece of mind if I go to another country or if I am doing activities that can damage the watch. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Great review. I would prefer ceramic or sapphire bezel over aluminum any day. The two hole clasp w diver flip out are also silly and pointless. These days there seem to better options available Seiko either needs to lower their priced or up their game.

This is a nice watch but I purchased recently the SLA047J1 Marine Master 300 and the SPB105J1 MM200 and extremely happy with both . I love this new watch though if I did get one I’d get the blue one . I tried it on at a local A.D. it’s a very nice Seiko diver .

It's an ok watch but definitely not worth more than £700. I'd rather get a JDM SARX to be honest.

It's not a bad watch, I went in to try out this one and the SPB383 which I was drawn to most out of the two. Better level of finishing and a ceramic bezel.

The dial, handset and bezel do look nice, but for that sort of money I would expect nicer bracelet and case construction.

I ordered the same version as yours, mine came with big triangle version, mistake by watchdives, and misarable not working_able clasp..what to say..not really hyped..they offered 20$ refund for mistake, after one week i sold the watch.

Whats can you say about the accuracy of the watch?

I don't get why they don't stick to the original size of the watch (42mm)! The size of 38/39mm is just to small for a watch like this (and I don't think that this is a cutting of costs on their side). For that reason it's a nogo for me. I think the Helson is more true to the original size.

I can’t believe this is the same thing they told me too, I texted them because they hadn’t yet shipped my order five days after I placed an order, they told me the exact same thing about the qc issue with a dust speck on dial, that’s crazy

I like this type of watch! I have the Borealis Estoril (v1). I hated the crystal it came with, so I changed it myself (many times) until I settled on one. I go through a lot of crystal changes on my homage watches. Good to see a nice crystal on this Watchdives!

Since you liked this one, you should go look at the Helson Sharkmaster 300.

This, like the IRONWATCH homages are not worth the price, despite the hi-beat PT5000. Cronos ought lose the cyclops, since nothing about this watch is akin to the 1680 that first introduced the cyclops to the Sub range. I would also like to see some of the brands make deeper indices on the bezel in the moulds that they use. They should also be experimenting with the application of ultra white platinum glazing in the final firing of the ceramic. The white paint is not good enough. If a company is going to homage a watch - go the whole distance. Platinum glaze adds less than a couple of dollars to the price of production.
