For anyone wondering why 4 seats - its because the retarded ADR’s (and I’m guessing applies to NZ too) require any seat in a car to have a top tether point (or something like that). Therefore, as the middle seat doesnt have one, honda just never bothered to give it a seatbelt. Also, 127kw is completely wrong - the motor has 96kw. No idea where youre getting that number from. Great video otherwise.

@@TarmacLife That's true! What about Citroen SM then, or BX 4TC (Though that one was more of a disaster :D). Could also count Xsara VTS (167 HP in a lightweight and swift chassis), and overall VTS editions of their smaller cars. So yes, in the past Citroen offered more sporty spirit of their constructions, even tried their luck in rally, just later it was abandoned completely and brand dwell into boredom. Thankfully recently their cars became more "Citroenish" once more, like presented C4! Thank you for the nice video :)

I paid $38,000 for my mg4 as a demo with only 660klms on the clock and with the 10 year warranty, really love it. but I wish they would improve the software down falls. it's not quiet as good as a Tesla model 3 but for $25,000 cheaper it was a great buy

@@TarmacLife no its an HRV, in america the HRV is based on the new civic platform, you can look it up, the design is totally different from your video. the down side is america does not have a hybrid trim for the HRV (atleast for now )

I drove the new petrol ZS and going just a couple of kph over the limit it started making a bonging alert. You could disable this speed limit warning chime through the menus, but after restarting the car it reset it. Did you experience this? Great car but this puts me off.

Yeah, it's all part of ANCAP safety. So speed limits will ping, and yes it will reset each time. I think you can use one of the short cut buttons on the steering wheel to get to the menu.

You can turn the volume down, then it's quite enough not to annoy you. It also quitens down the blinkers a little.

Is the seat leather fake or real? Last ZR model had fake leather which didn’t wear well. Oversea models have real leather options.

Agreed it very slow on hills and you have to keep changing gears to keep up its also very lumpy going over speed humps but its decent I suppose i have the suzuki swift hybrid 1.2 👍

Great look at the top trim Camry. That car is going for $40.000 US. They are selling quite well. I replaced our 20 year old sedan with a new mid trim Camry. We like it.

Nice review guys....US cars getting 400hp and 354tq.....did you feel DCT shifted quick enough in auto and/or manual??

Thanks, appreciate the support. As for the DCT it's great for a sporty drive, however, found that to engage drive or reverse took a couple of pushes (not ideal for a 3-point turn) and wouldn't shift down 2 gears with a double tap, so feel that a manual option would be more of a driver's car.

Thanks for watching and comments. BYD have spent a fair amount of time in Aus/NZ playing with the suspension (localising it) so maybe that could explain. Steering is a little light but not crazily so.
