Thanks for your review. I have a GT-Line off-loading from the boat in Auckland today. For those moaning about the centre bench seat design, I'm not sure they appreciate that the area isn't wasted as there is the storage accessible from behind. After seeing your review, I'm very pleased I chose the Iceberg Green.

Great review, good to see a non top of the range being tested. Like the idea of the extra elbow room. Have a niro mk2, waiting for the EV5 to arrive in Ireland Question for Dave I found the driver seat bolstering in the base sits on my right leg, I am 6ft2 and have big thighs, wondering is the EV5 good for this comfort? That Nanny stuff is great point, nuisance stuff.

Thanks for watching and the comments. With regards to the seats, hard to say as Dave isn't 6ft. Overall it's a comfortable vehicle but suggest you test drive to be more specific for you.

Weird front seat thingy. Needs 800V if it's going to be a family holiday vehicle to minimise charge times. Lower cabin plastics very poor. Steering needs better calibration. ADAS is to overbearing needs a quick kill button. And where is the rear parcel shelf? Disappointing.

needs 800V? None of its rivals has 800V to offer.

Get your points but the 'goods' far outweigh the bad

@Harhawink So is that a reason to rule it out? If KIA want to compete, they need to include as many features as are possible. If the EV9 and Ioniq5 etc can charge at 800v there should be no reason not to include it on the other cars produced by the group.

@ this is a cost thing. EV9 and also EV6 are pretty expensive cars. EV5 comes from a different angle. It is supposed to be fairly affordable large family car. Not everyone drives long distances and even still EV5 will be performing amazingly. EV9 and EV9 charging speeds are on par with Porsche. Cars that cost double or tripple the price of a Kia. Sharing same oroginal Rimac tech.

@@Harhawink It wouldn't cost them that much to add 800V architecture. It is bigger than the EV6 after all, and that has it.

I think I prefer the Kia EV3

That front seat is a stupid design, a waste of space with no utility at all, similar to the EV3 tray

It's certainly odd. But it will hold your phone

@@TarmacLife lol. True I definitely prefer a full centre/front Console
