Fun fact, Versusia SSBA has 14 frames of start up and goes full-screen by frame 21 (if my memory serves). Mother goes across the entire screen in basically 7 frames 😂

It doesnt have much range but 2Bs little machine gun fire towards the ground breaks armor. I dont fight Vas often but thats my get out of jail free card. Pod machine gun

Not sure about exact player populations, but it should be some kind of SF6 Master MR. By feel id say probably 1300ish if you just got in, but yeah. The granblue ranked system in general is a little bit meaner than SF6, especially S++ vs Diamond

I understand what people mean when this is said (polarizing characters being too strong means that the point of a character being polarizing is rendered moot for a lot of matchups), but I know for a damn fact that none of y’all can name a character that you think would be good for the game if they were top tier / good. If I asked like 2 patches ago I could see getting Katalina as an answer because she’s just kind of white woman shoto and one of the faces of the franchise. Now look where we are.

@gnat4999 nah not possible, there will always be better and worse characters as long as they are different from each other. Someone's gotta be one of the best and someone's gotta be one of the worst. I'm definitely not the pariah of who deserves to be top tier or the best character in the game, I just think the community would HATE characters with randomness to them if they were optimal picks.

Her being not as good as other high tier characters is fine, her not being even really competent isn't. Vikala as she is right now is downright miserable to play with and probably the least scary zoner i have ever seen in a fighting game. If anything, it seems like people are just looking forward for her to try to start zone so they can just punish her for it. She doesn't need to be top tier, she needs fixes absolutely though.

this looks really fun and i liked the vibe of relink. i would pick it up but does it like still have a good enough playerbase for just spamming ranked matches? happend a few times that i picked up a fighting game and just didnt find enough matches to enjoy

In my experience in North America finding matches is stupid easy, 5-10 seconds to matchmake pretty often. Not too sure about other regions, but I've heard europe is a little sparse sometimes.

Bit of a long post here but... I've been waiting patiently for this one, and in the meantime I've been thinking about my gameplay, wondering how to take it to the next level. It's true I don't play Yuel nearly as much as I did pre-Versusia, but I think this review is going to be super helpful to consider going forward. In actually just the last couple days I've realized there's a lot of times I play way too passive, and I think Versusia just fits me better partially for that reason, but I feel like too much passivity is a recurring problem in my gameplay even now after having reached S++, and now having it pointed out gives it a bit of form in my mind so I can work with it a little better. Thank you for this review, you're awesome As for WHY I'm too passive and respecting my opponent too much even on my own offense, back in BlazBlue I used to fight a lot of unga bunga players that would dp me very frequently, even on their own offense lmao, and I never could figure out how to deal with it back then, and so I think I've come to Granblue and Street Fighter pre-conditioned to respect dp and jump immediately to layer 2 by default. I believe this is why Versusia has been good for me. Using her 2L 2L as a base and noticing responses to my pressure options off of it (2L 2L etc, or 2L throw mainly) in a simple and streamlined manner, on top of her being able to play somewhat passively more comfortably really contribute to my current strengths as a player. High damage and rather aesthetic woman are nice bonuses. At the time of these replays, Eustace was a big question mark for me and so I was figuring things out in the middle of this set just like you said, and to be honest I still need a lot more matches against him, especially to practice reacting to U flamek, grenade, and rekka back jump properly and understanding what options I have when grenade is present. I absolutely love Yuel as a character, and will be using this information in the future to try and bring her up to speed alongside my Versusia, and hopefully I can fix these fundamental problems entirely. Thanks again for all the work and care you put into your content and community.

Hello, I’ve been watching your videos for a while, and just a couple of tips that I think might help 1. Try playing neutral, using more lights, with some mediums rarely 2. Stop trying neutral skips. I see you use them very often, like jumps, Foward medium knee, and just charging in

You can just do a L rekka cancel (block button) on AA. Gives more reward and saves an important cooldown.

fair, but she still has to run strike/throw/throwbait pressure like everyone else, she just goes about it in a different way since she doesn't have a dash L or c.L, you see 2Bs do her command dash into normal or into throw for blockstring pressure all the time though. She's still playing the same game overall on offence
