Are you talking about the image showing on both cables? This is as switching box.

Sorry for not going into more detail. I do cover off the many options in the settings from 1:07 to 2:32. Viewing the images can be done on the screen in the camera as well or by removing the SD card and using a card reader for a pc or laptop. Or connecting the USB cable to the camera to then read off the camera while the SD card is still in the camera.

Have you tried rebooting the camera? Turn it off, then turn it on. Wait for it to initialise and then try again.

It could. You just need the base system to be close to the cameras. I just released a video on a wireless bridge. This can send the signal from the main house to another building up to 3kms away. That could be an option too.

I only use the virgin modem as a modem. So no WiFi or connections to it. I then use the WiFi router to handle all the device connections. It is better as it can handle more devices than the virgin router. Mine is a hub4. Do you have a router to test it with?

If you require more than that and potentially have more networking knowledge, as it is clear you do, then maybe looking at more of a business related package or an FTTH provider.

Thanks for your comment and questions. It depends on how much movement it picks up and if you set the camera to pick up every movement with high sensitivity. Then the batteries won't last very long. Maybe a week with a lot of triggers all the time. Plus, you then need a large SD Card otherwise it fills up quickly. I have an outdoor power box for plugs, reviewed on my channel as well. The plug connector should seal properly, but I tape mine up for extra safety as water can travel. I am not sure how long a power bank would last, I guess you would need to test it and try. Sorry, it might not be the exact answer you wanted. Hopefully, it helps.

@thereviewdaduk ah OK. That is helpful thanks. A week is a lot longer time to what I was expecting, so that's actually great news. I'm only used to other types of camera and them lasting, kind of 5hrs with continuous use. As for the power bank, I got a 20,000 milliampers for doing long timelapses on my old Gopro. I've not actually used it yet, but it should power the Gopro for around 20hrs, as I found out, the Gopro uses around 1,000 milliampers an hour. I will have a search to see if I can find out what milliampers this camera uses anyway. Thanks again.

I am in the UK as well. They are very good. I also have Ring cameras. What I do like about the AOSU ones is the solar panel being built in and also the oration of them left and right as well as up and down. The Ring cameras are just set in one view. they notify you, they record good video and the sound is good. The app works well. Just make sure they are as close to the base station as possible for best performance. The further they are, then you will encounter some minor issues etc - but that is like anything that moves further away that relies on signal. I have had them for about 2 months now.

It depends on how much movement is in the view of the camera to pick up. Also, is the camera charging each day for a bit when there is light? With normal.operation, it can last about 1 month with not too many motions picked up.

Yeah. You are correct. Others have costly monthly fees. This one does not, and you can store the files locally as well. I find the streaming and scoreboard so cool.

Dollar stores also sell them with attachments to hold lighters. Removed the attachment, and put the paper clip on. You'll spend 100 times less for way more retractable cables.
