did they paint the entire house all the way around ? i know some of these shows only did what you could see from the front and dont do all.......
@jaysunsd3 жыл бұрын
Hi Robert. They did paint the entire house. However, the show doesn't mention we had to kick in about $6K so that they would.

Crappy disjointed programme. Flitting from one thing to another it does not tell a cohesive story or proper sequence. Gave up after 8 minutes.
@jaysunsd3 жыл бұрын
Hi Pau. Sorry you didn't like the program. Agreed that it does hop around a lot. They really did try to fit a lot in just 21 minutes. The amount of footage we filmed over the month was quite a bit, so I'm sure this was not easy to edit down.

Roxy and I watched it (again) together today. Heartwarming and tender to see images of my dear uncle Matt, and remember how happy he made us. A man who knew how to love. Thanks for the laughs, Matt. Thanks for the souvenir album, Jason. XOXO

Thanks Rita for sharing. Grateful for the inspiration and challenge that is Matt. The Gospel today, "I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly.” Yep, pretty much what Matt was about.

this is the most striking house i've seen thus far. i was a tiny bit worried they were going to take away some of the details at first....big sigh of relief! crazy pretty.

Thank you for the comments, Faith. They did a great job. We just sold the home to move to Hawaii, and the wonderful couple that purchased it, saw it on the show too. What a fun experience!

It's a wonderful end result, but I can't help but think of how complicated it'll eventually be to have to repaint when the time comes for that.

Ahh, you have a point! As with any Victorian home, painting is a costly venture. Lucky for us, the home is not huge! :-) Thank you for watching.

@paintur68, thank you for the nice message. John is amazing and one of the nicest people we have ever met. Was a joy to spend time with him and the crew. Was sad to hear the passing of Bill (the carpenter) a few weeks ago from a tragic accident. Hope you find your own Victorian and man :-) Happy New Year! Jason
