@paintur68, thank you for the nice message. John is amazing and one of the nicest people we have ever met. Was a joy to spend time with him and the crew. Was sad to hear the passing of Bill (the carpenter) a few weeks ago from a tragic accident. Hope you find your own Victorian and man :-) Happy New Year! Jason

this is the most striking house i've seen thus far. i was a tiny bit worried they were going to take away some of the details at first....big sigh of relief! crazy pretty.

Thank you for the comments, Faith. They did a great job. We just sold the home to move to Hawaii, and the wonderful couple that purchased it, saw it on the show too. What a fun experience!

It's a wonderful end result, but I can't help but think of how complicated it'll eventually be to have to repaint when the time comes for that.
@jaysunsd7 жыл бұрын
Ahh, you have a point! As with any Victorian home, painting is a costly venture. Lucky for us, the home is not huge! :-) Thank you for watching.

did they paint the entire house all the way around ? i know some of these shows only did what you could see from the front and dont do all.......
@jaysunsd3 жыл бұрын
Hi Robert. They did paint the entire house. However, the show doesn't mention we had to kick in about $6K so that they would.

What a great couple! John looks amazing in that moustache! Sigh....I wish I was living in a Victorian with a handsome man. I'm jealous! :- l But, I'm happy for these two guys too.

Those guys are beautiful, makes me wish I was a gay man... with a Victorian. .... nice house makeovers too!

Blade56762 What a hilarious comment! We had fun on the show and loved the home. Now in Hawaii on a new home remodel and new adventure.

Crappy disjointed programme. Flitting from one thing to another it does not tell a cohesive story or proper sequence. Gave up after 8 minutes.
@jaysunsd3 жыл бұрын
Hi Pau. Sorry you didn't like the program. Agreed that it does hop around a lot. They really did try to fit a lot in just 21 minutes. The amount of footage we filmed over the month was quite a bit, so I'm sure this was not easy to edit down.
