What exactly is your question? Do you want to calculate materials for the ring beam? Do you mean to subtract that part?

To subtract that part so we can only know the number of blocks only on that particular wall. U only told us how to subtract windows and doors.

You subtract it if its size is significant. Remember you also need to provide for cases where some blocks get damaged or you under-estimated which is more likely than over estimating. You do not have to rely so much on the contingency provided because that's only useful beyond reasonable doubt.

In your example you should have restricted 100thick slab to your illustration M15 and below also mention that M15 is domestic mix as it cant apply to the 200 and 300 you talked about.

The video was showing how you calculate the materials not necessarily the ideal concrete strength for structures but thanks for your contribution. It was also mentioned this is just for illustration purposes.

Best of luck to you now and always!! I love to see us women succeed!! I live in USA & it’s hard to get started over here as well. We have so many rules & regulations, plus so much insurance to buy, because if someone falls off of a roof, for example, we have to cover our employees with insurance for medical bills, etc. Otherwise, they could get a lawsuit against the property, in which they fell, which in turn would not be good for the company. The insurance is super expensive. The licensure from the state is the cheap and east part. Best of luck to you on your business journey! Sending love and light!! 🙏
