Never lie about the 60s or early 70s being the weakest ever when they had the most jam packed great HoF league and hardest circumstances ever. We’ll get back to that. This video is cool because you make it clear your extremely young and giving your opinions which explains why you have lebron and MJ so high. But out the gate there is a contradiction predicating Russell above wilt on winning when you have Kareem above russell yet russell won against wilt far more than Kareem did. In fact in their split series, wilt embarrassed Kareem defensively while outrebounding him as Kareem embarrassed wilt offensively and the other series wilt totally dog walked Kareem in a matchup out defending him by far, out rebounding him, out passing him, and out field goal scoring him while Kareem had the slight ppg edge. This is wilt far past his prime doinb this to prime Kareem. So just imagine how far above prime wilt is than Kareem. Just silly ranking forreal if you knew these facts. Wilt is the goat by far easily. Having him at 11 is to have Zero knowledge of the game and it’s history and just knowing narratives. Most comp overcame, most hof odds overcame, impacted winning more than all others in the toughest era ever, most versatile and greatest performances ever. Countless clutch moments (more than russell which most people cannot even name individual clutch moments for) etc… The only issue with this video is you make it clear that it’s your opinions but you lied about the 1960s and spoke matter of factly instead of giving your opinion which is an extremely incorrect opinion and could not be further from the truth Russell and wilt played in the greatest eras ever. They proved less teams and rounds are irrelevant since they won as rounds in the playoffs increased and as teams increased. Their eras had the hardest pace to keep up with ever, hardest rules to learn and play the game ever, hardest rims to shoot on ever, hardest shoes to play in ever, no backdown punishment allowed forcing all bigs to be the most skilled ever, no wrist carrying allowed whatsoever, 2 hand check and zone defense allowed at large, etc…. Where only the best of the best players made the league having 8-14 teams total. You give 90s or today 8-14 teams and it’s a league full of HOFs extremely harder to make the league skill wise having a far higher standard quality to make the league just like it was in 60s and early 70s No need to lie about 60s era to get your opinions across. That’s the main issue with how the world has fallen over the decades to today. Everyone has to lie to get what they think across instead of keeping everything consistent as their humble opinion when they open up with saying it’s just their opinion especially when not having much of the correct information So yeah wilt has tons of clutch moments I can list, best numbers across all major categories postseaon and finals let alone reg season, most versatile ever able to guard 1-5 and FG score, bulk score, ast, and rebound at goat levels, and most versatile stats ever, most transcendent beyond his positions role ever to the extent he’s done things, near the top of all applicable analytics without them researching his blocks and steals in newspaper articles and league archives, most stamina and athleticism ever, strongest ever, can make shots from anywhere except standing FTs which still wasn’t enough to lower his impact on winning than anyone who was better than him at FTs in history and in his own era and could dominate games scoring 0 or 100 which is why he’s so far above MJ and lbj as guys who only know how to dominate a game a limited kind of way scoring in bulk. Wilt also had the most comp at his position by far and overcame the most hofs odds and supporting cast across major category odds the most often of all goat candidates Most records by far. Most rule changes forced by far. There’s nothing to refute the overwhelming consistent non biased facts that wilt is the goat. Case closed. Good video other than that

There’s definitely an argument to be made that LeBron could be above Tatum and Durant. @TalkBackSports2 ай бұрын
I did make a comment at the beginning of the video about their fit being questionable at times, but I do think that ultimately comes down to both Sengun and Green being young and making mistakes. What I am most worried about with the future of this team is their cap space, considering they will have 4-5 guys who will be asking for a lot of money in the next 3 years (including Green and Sengun). I said at the end of the video that keeping both Green and Sengun is a viable option if Green continues playing the way he did at the end of the season. But if not, the time will inevitably come where the Rockets move on from one of their young guys, and after not signing him to an extension this offseason, I could see the Rockets moving on from Green. Hope that explains it!

I appreciate you highlighting the reality of the situation. Most fans including myself sometimes get hyped up about the upside of this team but forget it might not be that easy. Some of these guys will either have to be moved or put in smaller roles. I believe Jalen will be moved before the start of next season. It’s hard not to like a backcourt of Amen and Reed. For the others, I guess time will tell. For the nets trade I disagree though. I understand that these upcoming drafts are “strong” but where would these prospects fit on our team? If it’s Cooper sure you make it work but why not kick the can down the road and also have more picks/trade leverage? I don’t see making any major moves until next offseason. Good video…go Rockets 🚀

@davidstansbury93092 ай бұрын
In what world were those Nets picks guaranteed to be top picks? They were 9th worst last season and had some cap room as well as other team's picks to improve next season if we forced them to try to compete. You fundamentally misunderstood the situation the Nets were in. They could easily ensure a middling draft pick out of spite if we played our hand too strongly. Stone nearly doubled the assets traded and moved them to a more favorable timeline.
@TalkBackSports2 ай бұрын
The Nets could have gotten better, but with a free agency class so weak and role players looking to sign with contending teams rather than mediocre teams, I don't see how that Nets pick could have been anything less than a lottery pick. I should have stated more clearly that I would have rather bet on the Nets being mediocre for the next two years than the Suns losing Booker and not replacing Durant when he eventually leaves within the next five years. And, if the report is true that the Rockets wanted to trade for Durant, the Rockets must believe their chance to compete is near, and those 2027 and 2029 Suns picks may not be as much of a valuable asset as they are perceived. Thanks for watching!
@davidstansbury93092 ай бұрын
@TalkBackSports it's not true they wanted an old, injury prone Durant. That makes zero sense. Neither does wanting another super high pick over the next two seasons. They have enough recent picks to develop and evaluate. Otoh, trading for Booker in a year or two once Ishbia accepts they messed up and need to rebuild makes a ton of sense. He'll be 29 or 30 when most of the remaining core is 24 or 25. Packaging 3 of the Core 7 plus their picks back would definitely be the best offer for Booker and could fast track their rebuild. Or they have extra middling 1st rd picks down the road to replace departing members of the Core with cheap, young role players. And to top it all off, the Nets '27 swap is even more premium, now that they will be shamelessly tanking the next two years. It will be tough for them to flip the switch for '27, building around their '25 and '26 draftees. It was a brilliant trade by Stone.
@TalkBackSports2 ай бұрын
@@davidstansbury9309 Agreed on the potential Durant trade, though he certainly would help that core in the present. I'm not sure if Ishiba will accept defeat, but if he does and trades Booker, then what you just said would work perfectly for the Rockets. You definitely opened up my mind more regarding those Suns picks, so thanks for adding more context. I'm assuming you're a Rockets fan so I hope it all works out for your team!
@LizardBiscuts2 ай бұрын
@TalkBackSports The suns have no ability to replace the salary of any of their stars outside of a trade for exactly equal contract value. Not to mention no one has the ability to replace a talent like Booker or Durant, or the human impact those players will feel once their squad is crumbling around them. The Nets would have held onto Bridges and the east is so top heavy that Claxton, Bridges and a few other ok players would give them a shot at a postseason berth. That's ignoring their finanacial flexibility and history of attracting big names to play in BKN

@@TalkBackSports I get what you’re saying but the oldest person in the rockets core is tari Eason and he’s 23 so if I trade green I want something back with talent and still has potential like a cade Cunningham. I wouldn’t trade green tho because whatever you get back unless it’s a superstar is jus going to be an older less athletic version of him. Also while you compare green and sengun you have to also acknowledge their starting points. Sengun has played pro ball and trained for it for years before coming to the league. Jalen played hs ball and 15 g league games, so I feel like Jalen was being decent just off talent and not knowing how to even play the game, there’s an interview shaq did where he said if jalen ever learns how to play the game of basketball he would be a great .
