In general I find the art of AC2 restricted when compared with historical cities in the other games... Florence and Rome are never portrayed with the glory that Paris and London are for example and I think it's a shame

The page depicting Bruce's Cafe Racer is wrong. It is correct about it being a Honda CB750 Frame but they show Catwomen's BMW R Nine! Not sure why there has been little to no coverage about his drifter bike.

I think I have some art books in my collection from other productions that credit the artists in some way. I remember seeing their full names underneath various concept sketches. But yeah, all art books should credit all oarticipating artists

I found this book in a used bookstore way back in the early '80's! I went through a spiritual crisis/breakdown in the late '80's and tossed a lot of my comic and artist collections into the garbage (couldn't let all this satanic stuff pollute someone else's mind, could I? 😉) ... worse, I ripped the book apart and tore it up!! Which means: give your collections to a trusted friend for safekeeping until you get over the madness!! Believe me you'll thank yourself decades later i stead of kicking yourself (like I do!!) ....There's no way I can afford to get a copy now..I console myself with a digital copy found online....

Why blur everything out? There are plenty of other videos that don't blur the images, and they don't require sign-in verification. Lame.

I'm looking forward to picking both of the books up at some point, though probably not the special editions. But I've absolutely been enjoying the new Dune films and just the entire look, feel and mood of them. So much of that starts at the drawing board/computer and it looks like they give you a lot of info in these books. I really want to get the books connected to the Dark Souls games and Elden Ring, the designs in those games are so interesting. As far as signatures, they are nice to have, I do enjoy that when I get some of my kickstarter books signed, though I think it's a bit more special to get something signed in person if you can, easier said than done though. I picked up a few of Cory Godbey's books recently at Emerald City Comic Con and just being able to get them signed and spend time talking to him about his art and career was fantastic. Anyway, great review, that book looks so nice. Cheers
@Spiridude5 ай бұрын
Yeah, of course it matters more if you had just a second to get smth signed personally. If you live far from any conventions happening, the better alternative is to buy it signed though. I mean, if your goal is to build a collection that is usually the preference.

Hello I think no names posted due to blizzard owning all the art etc and not giving credit! Hey with all your contacts any news about them maybe doing an art book if the church they did in France for the release of game? I think artist was Adam Miller
@bwpospolyta6 ай бұрын
Just read more info about you and cursive; I think you should make the book about the Diablo/ church art book! 3 aspects. Diablo game art Actual artwork and then it’s use for a music video by artist Halsey! I think book would sell good
@Spiridude5 ай бұрын
Thanks for the suggestion :) So there have been a couple of projects in the past that were close to becoming real, at least in conversation, but were always shattered by corporate interests and deals with Dark Horse, which I understand. I am only a small designer, and cannot offer the kind of framework and coverage such a major publisher could offer. Any Star Wars or Disney or major gaming studio deals never worked out, even though artists, directors and producers wanted to work with me. It is just how it is in the end, and I accepted it after all these years of gatekeeping :)
@bwpospolyta5 ай бұрын
@@Spiridude absolutely it’s a bummer that these things never come your way market or get shared more. Going back to the church thing they did for the Diablo release I did not get to attend in person but some of those pieces I seen were excellent. It’s a shame these pieces are either locked up at Blizzard basement lol

I can't tell. Best take would be to try and get a view on the book you want and decide then. I do not have the book for Diablo 3 though as the look of the game suggested the book would likely not be up my alley.

Thank you so much for this walkthrough - I need to have this book! The movie was amazing. I grew up with Buton's Batman - and I love it! Then came Nolan and made a masterpiece. But this new one feels special... so precise, so real, so human (not much of a superhero) and still so dark... I loved it and I'm looking forward to the sequel.
