great version of a classic,,,only problem is this myth concerns a young woman who died in the service of her narcissistic pimp who only thinks of himself. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWTHZZt8qZqnqtEsi=0LTxqe9usm5A77or

Three guys I deify are Dave Edmunds, Rory Gallagher and Roy Buchanan. There is no purer form of rock n' roll than what Dave Edmunds serves up.

I have to always wonder how much further the Allman Bros Band would've gone if Barry Oakley, n Duane Allman had lived to make the band even greater than they were!!!!

Hilarious flub!!! Guitar was probably tuned down a half step, making his actual key Bb in 440. Then the rest of the band comes in in the key of B. I guess there was no pre-show sound check. And Paul was bopping along with it as if they were all in key together.🤣🤣🤣🤣

At this skill level you don’t have to think, the groove just flows naturally from fingers to instrument.

Just don't like EC's guitar. Poorly thought out. Dunno why Dr John went with it. Worst version of a classic. EC such an average player.

I remember watching this show ! Loved the Allman brothers...still do. Even my Dad...a Korean vet heard the song "Melissa" and "Midnight Rider" and their unique southern sound along with Greg's voice and went out and bought his album (of course I was SHOCKED 🤣) I was a big fan of the Allman brothers...who my brother would work security at Kiel 1974 (he was a big guy) and just about every group he worked for he would go out and buy their albums. He came home with the Allman brothers album one day (I was 14) and that's all it took. 😊 I was hooked. I loved Greg's "unique" voice and the groups songs. I was also a big fan of Michael McDonald (another unique voice...he was with the Doobie brothers) he had that soul sound like Greg....but the bottom line is Greg was #1 as far as I'm concerned he started it all (and his brother Duane) and brought in a southern blues rock. Still have the Filmore Album but gave it to my daughter because now she's into the Albums and old rock 🥰 R.I.P Greg 😊 P.S. My brother said Greg was a nice guy and just a really down to earth guy. 😊
