Some of those gaps are so large that a small child is going to break their leg on them. Should've replaced the boards and made the gaps tighter. 3/10 job. Would force him to do it again in a labor camp.

That seems like so much work 😅 I use a 7" grinder with a concrete wheel to grind down subfloor. I'm not sure how well it would work on this but it would get you a lot more coverage if it did

I will never understand why people cover wood with hideous carpet. So gross and it's never really clean. When I bought my house the entire top floor had carpet. Immediately ripped that sh1t up😂

Alright I'm not sure about this but I think he used fire to burn the wood a little bit but didn't show the burn because that would have landed him in some shit most likely due to the bench being in a part and possibly it being in dry season. Regardless of my thought.. Nice job.

I think the previous owners covered that parquet flooring to protect it until they could refurbish it, but then didn't do it because that's a boat-load of work!
