You are NOT sublimating onto the canvas. You are sublimating on the laminate and attaching it to the canvas. Call is what it is.

This is great info. I've seen several people subbing straight to 651, but I never could get it to work and have decent colors. I never thought of using laminate on top of it, but have used laminate on wood and other hard items. My only question would be if you could put another layer of laminate on top of the sublimation to make it UV resistant. I'll have to try that out and see, because this would be great for outdoor decals if it works.

Thank you so much...we purchased the "Star Craft" and when heated it did not stick as well!!

Use Sublidecal vinyl! Print your sublimated transfer paper, heat press it on the vinyl, laminate it and then contour cut it. The stickers last outside 3-5 years without fading or anything. The laminate blocks the UV rays from fading, cracking etc.
